I don't think World Set in Stone is shit, but I'm not a big fan of it either. It's just okay to me. Sounds like a solid album track and nothing more. The more I listen to it, the less I think there's anything special about it, if there even was before.

That's an enormous problem with a lot of Beady Eye tunes. Initially, you think "this could be great!", and then the song just loses steam the more you hear it. That's the way I felt with The BEat Goes On and Kill For A Dream and a few others

As for TWINSIS, not an embarassment, but far from a game changer. Sounds like a faceless album track, not dreadful like SOTEOTN, but not really interesting like TMS.

The lyrics and simple but go together well, the music is good and has a nice melody sound to it. A feel good sort of thing.
Mixed reviews I am seeing but generally more positive than negative.
A promising start to their second album.
But having said all that, I do agree it is not going to be a breakthrough alone. Still has its place somewhere though.
All in all, I like it.
