The signing (or soon to be signing) of Giroud has me a little more concerned about RVP since we have also signed Podolski. But I have a feeling RVP will stay. He's not a Nasri in the sense of chasing money, nor is he a Fabregas in the sense that he has a strong personal motivation to leave. RVP has greatly matured during his time at Arsenal. He doesn't strike me as the person who would want to erase his legacy with the fans by making a move for monetary reasons. I'd think he rather lead and try to motivate this team to its first trophy in 6-7 years. I think AW signed Giroud because Chamakh is also leaving, perhaps Bendtner, too. Robin van Persie, Podolski, Giroud. What a strike force that will be. Again, time for some proper wingers, AW! |

Invest In Africa --- does that mean that the club will be investing in Africa or am I looking too much into it? its an inititive by a company called Tullow Oil to get people to "Invest In Africa" so they are paying us a big sponsorship to advertise via shirts and we will get alot of exposure in Africa (so they say) but no, the club itsself isnt investing in africa (thank god) if anywhere is to be invested in its Sunderland itself, getting the next generation of fans onboard is the most important thing to invest in |
