I think I owe a certain City fan a beer if I see him in Melbourne (he knows who he is, and no it isn't the Gallagher's)

Citeh are the lesser of two evils for tomorrow. Chelsea are an absolutely abhorrent club. Community Shield doesn't really matter, though. Bring on next weekend!

With 1 week away, what's your top 4 predictions and bottom 3 (relegation) predictions?
Top 4 is very difficult - Chelsea look strongest on paper, but can they gel? Arsenal are very good now offensively, especially if they keep RVP but are one defender away from being amazing. Citeh are as strong as last season. Utd haven't really improved.
Putting those 4 in order is a real challenge (either way, no chance for Spurs or Liverpool in my opinion).....

Citeh are as strong as last season. Utd haven't really improved. city have done nothing in the close season and normally standing still means going backwards in sport, united have done little but if we get RVP then that would have to make our team that lost only on goal difference as a team that has improved more than city. my top 4 Utd City Chelsea Arsenal i think the top three could be in the race until the last couple of weeks.

Chelsea will probably take a while to get going and i agree with Bonkers on number 4. God bless.

Chelsea will very likely finish 3rd, and id tip Arsenal for 4th, not because I think they will be exceptionally good, bu because Spurs will not be as good. Liverpool fans need not even look at the CL/UEFA places.
1/2 will depend on how the Manchester clubs fair head to head I think. If City do the double again they'll piss the league I think, but Utd havent won 19 titles without battling for them and id like to see them win it this season.
In all honesty im more concerned with what will be happening in the 11th-15th

Don't think Chelsea will be at much if Terry and Luiz are playing much this year. Really bad at the back.

65th min....by the pace of this game, you would think it actually had meaning! Good match. Citeh have dominated.....3-1 now as I type this.
Hate both teams because of the similar principles, but glad Chelsea are getting humiliated.

it'd be nice if the best players were playing, even in friendlies.
yes, they're trying to win the league/trophies but at the same time they're also entertaining.
God bless.

Former Manchester United fullback Arthur Albiston insists they do not need Lucas Moura or Luka Modric.
Sao Paulo star Lucas has chosen PSG ahead of United, while Tottenham playmaker Modric is set to join Real Madrid.
"Unfortunately for us Darren Fletcher who played a lot of football last season is unavailable," Albiston told talkSPORT. "He's got to get his health back before he begins thinking about football.
"Anderson has been out injured and he is hopefully coming back as well. Tom Cleverley is another player, he has not played a lot of football for United but he is a high quality player.
"We're hoping that he and Anderson can have a decent run injury free and [Sir Alex Ferguson] might not need to sign that midfield player.
"You could argue that Paul Scholes was United's best player in the second half of the season when he came in from the cold and he is going to have to nurture and help Cleverley and Anderson get through one more season." For all the latest football news go to tribalfootball.com.

still think the league's a toss up between United and City with RVP going to United.
just to put a number out...
1. M.C.F.C. 2. ManU 3. Chelsea 4. Tottenham 5. Newcastle
should be a good season.
God bless.
