SCYHO Glastonbury 2004
Noel looking bored and similar to an old hunchback on stage

I disliked the pre-rehearsed crowd interactions. I'd rather they said fuck all than "Hello to our 5th and final drummer Mr Chris Sharrock" for the 87th time.
I hated the lack of variety in the set list, and hated how they were clearly up for it some nights but couldn't be arsed others, despite Noel's big thing about everyone getting the same show.
And above all else, I hated how much of a well-polished travelling circus it became rather than a group of mates doing something they loved.

Oh, and Liam never singing the second verse of Acquiesce. I love that second verse so I hate how Liam always refused to sing it. He made the song far too repetitive by doing so, too.

is not that I hate, but I didn't really understand why they didn't detune the guitars in order to play some other songs...I always thought that some songs could have been easier for Liam, like cigarettes & alcohol or morning glory.
beady eye did this for wigwam, "for anyone" and across the universe, and they all sounded great to me.

This!!!^^^^^ They might have got each song down to a tee but there was no spontaneity in there towards the end. I almost thought the gig would be better if they didn't rehearse it and Noel just called out a song randomly and they played it because they're songs are not hard to play and they should be raw not polished. I think that's why Liam cut off the last word of lines a lot and tried different vocal styles because he was sick of singing the same songs the whole time.

Normally i would agree with something like that, but, I loved the set on the last tour, especially in '09. But that's just me...

But yee, I think they could have done it for some songs that were getting harder to sing for Liam, due his vocal range being shortened.

It was Liam kermit live, the damage still affects his performance today, it was shit how a professional singer dind't take care of his voice, the rest I could do with.

The set list was brilliant, easily the best since Heathen Chemistry and as good as any since the mid 90s. I loved the way the songs were played and the band's performance as well. It was just the lack of energy and boredom from Liam and Noel that spoiled it for me.

This is where some fans make the mistake in thinking Liam was a "professional" singer. He wasn't, he was a rock singer and not all rock singers bother. Singing is just something they do in between the booze and what not. It did grind on me also, but more so when he pulled back from finishing lines.

Yeah, the lack of passion pissed me off, too, during the DOYS tour. I'm not going to believe they weren't passionate about Oasis any more. I think statements from both Gallagher's post-split show that they remain passionate and hate the fact they broke up, but they simply didn't convey the passion they did throughout their entire career in touring. They were merely going through the motions.
As someone already put it: They became a well polished act. - In once sense, that was good because musically they had never been better. But they were missing that raw passion that made Oasis so unique.

Alan White's drumming getting shit by the Giants tour, seemed really lazy.

Recently ive heard/watched way more bootlegs than listened to the albums, and i heard the studio version of Acquiesce, and, being used to Liam skipping the verse, was like "wtf why is there anotherr verse?!" xD

Noel/Gem not playing the lead intro for Some Might Say Liam saying "Summah!" in CS. Although when I saw them he thankfully didn't... though that reminds me of my next one: Non-existent interaction with U.S. crowds. At least the 2001 Greek theater show I saw, I don't remember them saying a single word to the audience. they played DYou Know What I Mean and Some Might Say a half tone lower. seemed to work nicely. Liam still having a bit of a hard time though And My big Mouth, but that one didn't work out I think. But yee, I think they could have done it for some songs that were getting harder to sing for Liam, due his vocal range being shortened. My Big Mouth was weird because the chords in the verse were changed to the ones for Supersonic. My view is that Liam's voice took a really heavy thrashing because Noel had been writing vocals outside of a good range for Liam pretty much since the start. That pitch is so essential to the Oasis sound though, and it works out well in the studio. But live vocals and limited setlist are a big one for me. The idea of a MG 20th annv reunion is bittersweet, because Liam probably couldn't pull off a good part of the MG material these days. Some Might Say, Hello, Morning Glory

The fact that they never play that little lead riff right before the verse in C&A. Think I've seen one gig where they actually played it.
