Well, there's a difference between occupying empty space up front and throwing elbows left and right while squeezing between people. My attitude is if moving closer encroaches into someone's personal space, stay where you are. Agreed! Trust me galpsych, I would hardly put you in the same category as the two girls from the shows I went to. Empty space at the concert is more room for more fans. But a spot in line before the doors open is different. They literally walked right up to the front of the line as though they were with the guy who'd been standing there the entire time. Then, they weasled their way into getting backstage passes for themselves in NY, and left their "friends" behind. Definition of bitch = those two. I think I know the two you're talking about. There were two girls at the Boston show claiming to be on the tour with BBR. Quite loud and quite obnoxious. They were however quite apologetic for screaming in my friends ear in between songs...

Pretty sure that would be them. Tara Reid look-a-like and her friend? In DC Tara was telling a couple in line that they could get them into the after-party. Then she told them that Noel had sent her texts.

Amazing how anyone with that close connections to either of the bands would be waiting in line.

Actually, you'd be surprised...If you're on the guest list but not traveling with a band you still have to go to "Will Call" usually.

guest list for the concert or for back stage? I'm intrigued by this... and would you still need to camp out (or cut your way to the front)?
Just curious.. where were your seats for the Oasis shows in NJ and VA? My husband and I were there.... in the waaaaay back in NJ and the waaaaay up in VA.

Unless you're hanging out w/ the band before the show, you've got to get your passes from somewhere. Smaller venues typically handle this at the Will Call area. Larger places often have a separate entrance for picking up passes (MSG, for example). If you're actively traveling WITH a band, you probably wouldn't be waiting in line. Following a band is a different story altogether...
At the Camden show I was dead center about 20 rows back. The VA show, I was about 15 rows back, center on the aisle near Noel? Best I've had was the last Noel show at the Beacon (5 rows back, dead center) and the two Beady Eye shows last week.
And btw, that's definitely Noel's best lyric ever.

Here are a few videos I shot from the balcony at the DC show. Both are in HD!

That'd be them. I wouldn't have minded if there wasn't so much screaming at every possible moment..More power to 'em but man, they were loud.

Sorry if they're friends of your's Rifles, I don't ever intend on insulting anyone here, but they were incredibly rude. In addition to what I said in my earlier posts, they also were making fun of an older woman in line in front of us, blew off another girl who tried to have friendly conversation with them after the show, and a few of the guys in line as well.

I'm aware of them, I wouldn't call them friends so you can insult them all you want, haha.
I find it funny that they were so loud and obnoxious that they made an impression on a few of you.

No, that wasn't me taking that photo. Would be cool as hell to get backstage, but I don't have the feminine features necessary, unfortunately. The grass is always greener, y'know.

I wasn't even at those shows, haha. I haven't seen BDI yet. I saw Noel in Toronto. Managed to get into the exclusive acoustic show and went to both concerts at Massey Hall. Met up with some fellow forum members as well (gdforever, mkoasis, tiggs, hanofjo99). Was a great weekend. I was 6 feet from Noel at the acoustic gig, 3rd row for the first concert and way up in the balcony the 2nd night.

Very cool, and also cool that you got to meet fellow board members! The acoustic show must've been amazing - would've loved to have been there. How on earth did you get the picture above? Were those girls there following Noel too?
