Question is bridge now: do you have the record (surely you do) and why no review from your part ? Still don't know if he's telling the truth. Someone just mentioned that he just edited his lyrics this morning. So I still need more proof. on dream on, he had the lyrics as 'shout it out to me' , instead of 'shout it out for me', as indicated in the q article above. he has since deleted all the lyrics, btw.... but the album will be released soon, so i don't get what the big deal is?

Rolling Stone Spain: 3/5, they basically say first half is good, second not so much, and arrangements sound repetitive to the point "when you get to Stranded On The Wrong Beach you can't tell if the album has looped to the beginning"

first half is good, second not so much Exactly what i was fearing the most BTW who the fuck is fucking my karma today and why? Reviews really don't matter to me. I remember when the DGSS reviews came out and everyone was falling on every word. It wasn't as good as some people were making it out to be, it wasn't as bad as some were either. Everyone has different taste. And isn't STC and Soldier Boys and Jesus Freaks on the second half? Which is again, why reviews really don't matter. Don't let one review get you to up or too down. In the end, all that matters is what you hear coming out of your speakers that will determine whether it's good or not.

I understand why people would be paranoid about not having heard anything about the second half of the album, but I think Noel's people might have chosen to release the first 6 songs to journalists simply because that's giving away the least unheard material while still incorporating songs that were to be singles like TDOYAM and WAL. If they had given out SOTWB, AKA..BA, and SBJF, journalists could have heard pretty much everything on the record before they got a full copy in their hands. There would be no surprise for the avid fan, either. May not be right, but that's my rationalization and I'm sticking to it. ;D

There's another part of the magazine where 25 musicians talk about the music that changed their lives - and there are covers with each of them on. Noel and Liam are interviewed as part of this, with some interesting stuff.

One of them starts his column praising Beady Eye, continues saying that Noel's album is as delicious as a Ferran Adria dessert, and ends the column asking for an Oasis reunion. Not that it means much: probably in the previous number he asked for a Spice Girls reunion too ... The magazine also includes a 5-page interview. It is ok, but there is nothing really new in it.

Noel's offering is then, as I expected, predictably great.
Thanks for the scans!
