When I first saw the thread title all I saw was "I'm going up to Mercury" and thought this was the title of the AA album

Does he plan on making a second round of tours in America?
I'd love to go see him but I won't be able to in November because I have a baby being born around then.

Tell, don't ask, him that he has to play Hey Now! on tour at least once.. because as long as Noel's still around, he owes it to himself and us fans to play it live.

Though it is probably the weakest tune on WTSMG its a fantastic tune regardless. I'll try to think up some more questions but here is my one for now haha Does he still consider The Beatles to be his biggest influence on his music?

My two cents:
Does he write for himself, the masses, or the fans (i.e. us)?
U.S tour? anymore dates, namely midwestern dates?
Anymore information on the 20th Anniversary of MG?

I know everyone wants to be funny, but let's try to be less vulgar please. we have a great chance to ask questions via Jeff, let's try to appreciate it. btw, the unreleased/demos box set question is a good one, bluemagpie ^what she said. (*wink, wink) *scrunches up lips-- emulating a soft peck on the cheek, like*

What's going on with the High Flying Birds? Who else is playing guitar now that David McDonnell is out? How have rehearsals been going? What can we expect from the live set? Any hints he can drop about set surprises? Basically anything that you can glean about the tour would be fantastic. Does he need any extra roadies? Thanks!

I'm in favour about the anthology one... A massive box set of the albums, singles, demos, dvds, etc... We might actually get all of the BHN demos in superb quality!

Definitely I'd ask about the anthology, slow and the album with AA. Oh and that Knebworth dvd Noel hinted about a few months ago would be nice too.

Here is the list of questions that were gathered for the web chat that were never asked: Right, here's what we've got so far. I'll post all of these questions and say that the job lot is from The Live4ever forum. See if we get a mention: Question #1: What happened to the song 'Slow' Owen Morris mentioned in Q Magazine in September 1997? He said it was one of the best songs you have written but it wasn't right for an Oasis album. Where is this tune now? Question #2: Noel, would you go back to work with former members of Oasis in the future (Bonehead, Guigsy or Alan White), and will you be changing the setlist at the gigs? Question #3: Will ‘Don't Stop Being Happy’ ever be released? Question #4: Would you ever consider asking Gem, Andy or Chris to join your new band if you urgently needed a new guitarist or drummer? Question #5: What are the chances of the fans getting a live High Flying Birds DVD or live CD? Question #6: Could you give us additional information about the AA album. Is it fully completed? Does he feel satisfied with the amount of say he got in it? Will he tour it with the HFB's? When it drops next summer will he just begin dropping some of the HFB material to replace with the AA stuff? Will we have a chance to hear all the tunes on both albums live or are some doomed never to be aired live? Question #7: If you could own one Oasis bootleg, which show would he pick up? Will you please release the full video of Knebworth? Question #8: Can we please have any and all demos that involve the BHN sessions released? Question #9: Whatever happened to the song 'I Gotta Get It Back'? It was mentioned in NME during the summer of 2000 and I believe a Japanese interview along with 'Shout It Out Loud' the same year. Question #10: Will Freaky Teeth ever be released or is it under a different name? Question #11: Will there be a DM deluxe edition in 2014 and a WTSMG deluxe edition in 2015? Question #12: Could you give us any information on some of the following unreleased songs? 1. Slow 2. The Red, The White and The Blue 3. Revolution Song 4. Revival 5. Don't Be Down 6. The Magic Can't Be Right 7. Come On, It's All Right 8. Freaky Teeth 9. Let It Come Down Over Me Question #13: When and where was ‘The Good Rebel’ written? Are you going to be playing any b-sides live? Question #14: Will any of the songs on the HFB album also appear on the AA album in a different form, or will they all be entirely original songs?

To Jeff and Webby: Obviously just an idea, but I'm sure there's loads of questions we all want Jeff to ask Noel. How about we make a poll or something and the, say best question or best two questions get asked? It's Jeff's interview of course, but would be nice to at least get a couple of questions from us at the forum as well I honestly can't commit to this. I do have a job to do, after all. Although I'd do it for free, of course. But rest assured that I will do my best to include anything relevant that gets posted here. I've started a txt file with everything here so I can go over it before I see Noel and/or Dave. I expect to see Noel again when he's here in NYC, so there will be more opportunities anyway. Breathe...

2 questions;
1- When you went missing in 1994 after the infamous wiskey a go go gig i read that you wrote "talk tonight", "its good to be free" and "half the world away" and subsequently recorded them in austin when you re-united with the band. if true did you write any more songs in that week?
2- at the 20th anniversary of morning glory will you be releasing the documentary that was made at Knebworth which followed the band and a group of fans to the gig?

I'd focus on three key aspects: 1. Unreleased songs/demos and what he is planning with them. 2. Oasis demos/b-sides/rarities as official release, Anthology style. 3. More tour info (another, bigger tour in 2012?).

I'm really looking forward to the interview buddy, and should be a more "insightful" interview than the standard interviews we get so often ("How you getting along with Liam these days?" and so forth). Still there's some really awesome questions here, especially the ones about unreleased songs and all that. Good luck with the interview

Underneath the Sky. He needs to play that one live. I agree 100%. Ask him if he can play this as one of the Oasis songs.

#1 did he read Tony McCarroll's book, and what is his reaction to the 'fact' (?) that The Real People helped him out a lot on a couple of songs from the DM era Great question. You should definitely ask this as it's one thats been the source of much debate and is not likely to be asked by other journalists.

He has said in my interviews when Oasis were still together that he wanted them to move away from the anthemic ballads. My question regarding this is whether he feels more comfortable releasing those kind of tunes as a solo artist.

I think since Jeff is going to Mercury for a "Making of" article. His questions should mostly stick to this current album and the songs found on it. A lot of these proposed questions are all over the map. Jeff probably only has a limited time to ask Noel questions. Let's make them all count.

Ask him about the "Bye Bye My Family I'm Leaving" song. It could also be called "Don't Be Down." I LOVE THAT SONG!
