Could anyone recommend me a good programme for ripping YT videos? What software do you use?
Thanks!

Does anyone have a good alternative for this program? It's downloading very slow lately and I don't like the new version either. Tried the old versions and still going way slower than usual. Does anyone know a program that lets you download and convert multiple YT files at a time? I know about listentoyoutube.com and such, but I'm planning to get more than just a couple of songs.

for audio www.mediaconverter.org (online) works for 4 or 5 links at a time for video I use Orbit or jDownloader (this one works for audio too but the quality is crap). or you can downlaod the videos and extract the audio afterwards with a program like Super

I'm using JDownloader. It'll also give you the choice btw all available formats and resolutions etc... If you - like a lot of people - are using this tool anyway, try it for YT downloads, too! It's fast and saves you a load of work. A lot of people using it don't seem to know it works with YT, too. Took me a while to find out myself, but i'll never use anything else for it again. It'll even let you download the audio as MP3s without having to download the vids!
