Good news for our South American members. They certainly deserve to see the lads as much as or even more than the rest of us!

The Planeta Terra Festival sold out (20,000 tickets) in a matter of hours (unlike previous years) and the media is saying "Oasis" fans are the reason behind this letting thousands of The Strokes fans without a ticket. Haha brilliant!

November 2nd is a worldwide holiday, right? Would be perfect if they played that day or on November 3rd.

THIS for my South American friends. Think there will be a proper announcement for the Chile and Argentina gigs very soon, as for US 2nd leg (November) + Australia (Nov/Dec > end of the tour) aswell.
31.10 Teatro Caupolicán - Santiago de Chile 3. & 4. 11 Teatro de Colegiales - Buenos Aires 5.11 Festival Planeta Terra - São Paulo

Just wanted to know what's your source. Those dates seem pretty reliable as the brazillian date is already confirmed for november 5th.
