Yes, but the past is the past. It's over, done. Everybody is aware of the fact that a good number of those songs should've been A-sides, but really nothing useful comes from discussing this ad-nauseum.

This thread made heard and realize that LAMB is indeed a fantastic song... but the thing that disturbs me at the most is the fact that, unlike The Masterplan, Acquiesce, Listen Up, Rockin' Chair and others, Noel never played this song, fuck, I've never heard he mentioning the existence of this tune...!! I mean wtf?!

LAMB is the last great Oasis b-side.

LAMB is the last great Oasis b-side. Shout It Out Loud was amazing too. For my money, that was the last great B-side.

Noel's B-Sides are ten times better than most bands' singles. Guy's a songwriting legend.

Noel's B-Sides are ten times better than most bands' singles. Guy's a songwriting legend. Truth. I've always thought that Noel should have mixed some A-sides with some B-sides. The fact that "The Masterplan" was a b-side is a crime, truly. But, if more people knew these songs the more annoying it might become. Just imagine if Paris Hilton tweeted the lyrics of "You've Got The Heart Of A Star" Ouch. Oh, by the way, this forum header is way too harsh.

But Be Here Now could've been absolutely massive, a classic equal to WTSMG, with The Masterplan, Rockin' Chair, Aquiesce, Talk Tonight, Half the World Away etc. See that's a fun game to play: Had Noel saved his non-album tracks, what could BHN's tracklisting have looked like? 01_Acquiesce 02_Whatever 03_D'You Know What I Mean 04_Rockin Chair 05_Talk Tonight 06_Listen Up 07_Don't Go Away 08_All Around the World 09_Round Are Way 10_Fade Away 11_D'Yer Wanna Be a Spaceman 12_The Masterplan That album, with more restrained producing than BHN, might be the best album in the greatest 3-album run in history. Just crazy.

SOTSOG could have been so much better minus :
Put Yer Money Where Yer Mouth Is Little James I Can See A Liar
And Adding :
Lets All Make Believe Solve My Mystery And an extended instrumental/atmospheric outro/intro between Sunday Morning Call and Roll It Over.

The best one was favouring The Nature Of Reality over Millionaire cos the latter had "a cringeworthy line" Millionaire, while a thousand times better than the utter shit TNOR, doesn't fit the vibe of DOYS. It would stick out so badly. Millionaire would be better on an album like DBTT, instead.....

I would rather have Wigwam on DOYS than TNOR, and it fits the album perfectly

And the debate was over Millionaire, not Wigwam. Millionaire does not fit DOYS. DOYS is dark, Millionaire is light and fresh. As for Wigwam, since you brought it up, it would fit better than Millionaire, that's for damn sure.... Also, and correct me if I'm wrong, Noel never said TNOR replaced Millionaire. Rather, he just said Millionaire was left off b/c of a line (which is, of course, a nonsense excuse). But maybe DOYS was an extra track longer? Maybe Millionaire was replaced by a different song? Or maybe Noel is just talking shite - I seriously can't imagine Millionaire on DOYS, but maybe that's just me
