From the latest issue of Japanese rockin'on mag. Liam and Chris, Gem and Andy were interviewed in pairs. After all, sure enough The Rolloer is written by Gem. Gem:The Roller, Wind Up Dream, SOTEOTN, Three Ring Circus Andy:FLW, Millionaire, Kill For A Dream, The Beat Goes On Liam:BTL, B&S, For Anyone, Wigwam, The Morning Son I think this is correct because Gem answered it, not Liam. and that, during the interview he filled in the names next to each song title on a paper ;D and some something new: ・FLW is Liam's favorite in the album. He said "The song is fcukin' cool, man. Aw fuck! I seriously wish I wrote it..." ・On B&S, Liam at first intended to add the phrase "And don't forget The Earth Wind and Fire" after "Beatles and Stones". ・In this tour the show length will be around an hour. ・Seems Andy doesn't have a personal relationship with Noel. When asked about the relationship between Gem and Noel, he said he doesn't have any objection to that. "Gem is Gem and I am me. I don't intend to interfere with other people's privacy, nor have the right to." (FYI as for Chris, in another previous interview, he said that shortly after Noel's walkout, Noel often texted him about football and Noel's kids and other stuff) and from another article in the issue: 'Noel's album is sure to be release by the end of the year, that Noel himself is saying' Sorry for no scans and my bad English!

Only an hour? They surely could have done a few more covers or something to fill it up

Thanks for the interview! K+ Andy's songs seem to be the best from what we've heard. But it's a good thing each one of them has written at least one great song. "and from another article in the issue: 'Noel's album is sure to be release by the end of the year, that Noel himself is saying'" Great, not the first source to say that

Andy seems to be the best songwriter, Liam has the voice and Gem is a really great guitarist and good at keep a structure to the session and the band. They really do compliment each other.
And as we suspected the singles that came out were by Liam, then Andy and then Gem.

1 hour is a bit short, isn't it? Anyway, there's a lot difference between 50 minutes and one hour and 10 minutes... I hope it's the latter =) How awesome would it be that, when the dust is settelled around BDI, we can already start looking forward to a Noel release in the near future? =)

I don't intend to interfere with other people's privacy, nor have the right to." To sum up, Gem's a dog. Andy and Noel are two cats. I dont think they didnt get along. They're just two really secret people.

Not surprised about Andy being the best songwriter in the group after what he done with Ride/Hurricane #1. Always nice to hear some new news on the band

Looks like Andy is recovering his great songwriting abylities from Ride and Hurricane#1, i allways found his output for Oasis dissapointing (except Turn up the Sun and Thank you for the good times).
Seems like he and Noel didn´t work well together. Maybe he was writing good songs and Noel didn´t let him put them on the album, or maybe he was writing good songs and saving them for post-Noel Oasis (Beady Eye)...

Seems like he and Noel didn´t work well together. Maybe he was writing good songs and Noel didn´t let him put them on the album, or maybe he was writing good songs and saving them for post-Noel Oasis (Beady Eye)... This is a story from the DOYS Era. Andy said he had written five songs for the album and he put them on a CD for Noel to listen to in order of what he felt was the best to the worst. Well Nature Of Reality was the last song on the tape because in Andy's opinion it was the weakest. Noel, however, really liked it and chose that song. I wonder if the other four were the four on this album, we already know Kill For A Dream and FLW were written in the Oasis era. I wonder if Noel pass up on The Beat Goes On.

Noel specifically said that Andy and Gem had better songs than what were on DOYS but they didn't fit with the songs he had chosen for the core of the album. His songs.
Doesn't sound like any of the tunes on DGSS would have fit into the DOYS. Glad they didn't take those songs and try to force them where they didn't fit. They probably would have been on Oasis' next album which Noel said was going to be more in the spirit of DBTT.
Noel had been wanting to do something different and I just don't think the rest could really follow the concept he was going for.

The 3 remaining Liam songs better be good otherwise he'll have written the worst songs on there
If FLW was written for DOYS then it should have been on there. I totally imagine it muddier, with those loud drums and heavy guitars. Dont really know what happened there but if he was holding those guys back, then its good they split up. Id have swapped shock of lighting for FLW personally.

I guess the A-side and the B-side are written by the same guy, so WOMR is Andy's and TOAK is Gem's, which was what I though. The later sounds very similar to Three Ring Circus
