This weekend it is a year since the three shows they played!
Blown generator, launch of Pretty green and THAT PARKA, Entrance via helicopter and the return of Roll With It and Live Forever.
My last time watching Oasis, I will never forget it - great performance in my eyes.

Such a great occasion that weekend was.
Singing out Don't Look Back In Anger in the rain with 80,000 others was the highlight. It was a pain in the arse getting home that night though. I didn't get in until 1 and I live in Rusholme! Still, it was worth it.

I was at Platt Fields Manchester with mates this weekend watching Ian Brown. Some of them i last saw at Heaton Park. Can't believe it was 12 months ago. For me Heaton Park was one of the better Manchester shows. Not as good as Maine Road. But the best since Maine Road.

A lot of people said that it wasnt a great gig but I thought it was pretty good, i mean they have had a lot better recently but they've had a lot worse too.
How was platt fields? I was gonna go to that but saving up for oxegen this summer instead

I was gonna go to that but saving up for oxegen this summer instead Platt Fields was a mini-festival over two days. No camping. I went on the Friday. I really only bought my ticket months ago to watch Ian Brown who was headlining. The actual event was really a mini festival. I thought it would be Ian Browns gig, but there were other stages, dj's, various bars, cool places to hang out, cocktail area, and fun fair. Mental! All in Platt Fields Manchester. Good crack. Me and my mates spent quite a bit of time in the Hacienda tent. Some cool bands played. The Whip, UNKLE, Bad Lieutenant (ex-New Order) and Detroit Social Club. The sun shone and it was one good crack! A real mad Manchester day out. A thought these days had gone. I suppose you could call me and my mates Hacienda Veterans. We should know better at our age. A damn good do mate! i'm in the middle (adidas top) with my mates

I am a bit too young for the Hacienda days but know all about it! Looks like good fun.
Really wish I'd gone now, i knew it was a mini festival and that because of all the bands playing there and I'm pretty sure I would of watched a fair few of them. Im sure it was only about £45 for both the two days.

I was there on the Saturday...great gig! Loved every minute of it, even the support acts (though let's face it, who else could have support acts in the shape of The Enemey and Kasabain?)
Just a brilliant night, still get a few chills knowing it was the last time I would get to see them as Oasis

really?
don't get me wrong this gig was still pretty good (it was an oasis gig after all) but I saw them at heaton park, ricoh arena and wembley stadium on the stadium leg of this tour and for me heaton park was the worst.
