well it is not totally his fault... this game was so horrible... some calls were missed, childress should have challenged a TD... he had an awesome season and was truly spectacular, I felt heartbroken for him even the NFL admitted they screwed up on that game...

If you are "centre-right" as you claim, and you hate liberals, why did you say you were suporting David Cameron in the UK election - a man who is about 100 times more liberal than Obama will ever be? Were you just talking shite about something you now feck all about as usual?

packers suck You watch it now. And don't go on about that crap with Favre letting down the jets because you would have been much better without him that year? Need I remind you of your 4-12 2007 season. And how can you be a Jets and Giants fan? I didn't think that was allowed. This thread should now be about sports.

And how can you be a Jets and Giants fan? I didn't think that was allowed. This thread should now be about sports. i agree... i enjoy hijacking his inane threads. you're right about favre as a jet, to a certain extent. he was phenomenal during the first half of the season. then he got injured and selfishly wanted to keep his streak going by playing. i hold the trainers responsible by allowing him to keep playing. well, i was never the biggest football fan, so i rooted for both teams. considering they play in the same stadium and rarely play each other, it's really not that big of a deal. if you put a gun to my head and forced me to choose a favorite, though, i'd choose the jets. hell, i'm a die-hard yankee fan who roots for the mets... as long as they're not playing my yanks. when that happens, it's on. (i must admit i won quite a few bucks from my mets-fan friends during the 2000 world series. can't complain there!) so where do you think lebron's going to play next year?

I don't think you can call it selfish. Iron man records are more ironic then anything else. The player isn't going out there every game to try and get the record, he's out there trying to help his team win. Favre (much like my other idol Cal Jr.) is a player who wants to help his team win. I honestly don't think he would put himself out on the field if he didn't feel like he couldn't still help the team. And if the team staff felt otherwise then that's on them.
But anyway about James. I honestly don't see why he wouldn't stay in Cleveland. He's already gone there and built up a shitty team and made them a contender. I don't see the point in going off to another bad team, trying to raise them up, and wasting more years of playing time. I doubt it's a money issue, as I'm sure he has created such a large market that the Cavs can pay him most anything he wants, plus he is from Ohio and has created such a large base there. Either find a team that is contending now or stay where you are.
