Du Blonde - Homecoming Seen this on the Tim Burgess listening party on twitter last week and Andy Bell plays bass on All The Way so gave it a listen. dublonde.bandcamp.com/album/homecomingIt’s a cracker, mix of Blondie, The Ramones and 90’s bands. Only 25 minutes long but a great listen. Sounds interesting, Jim! I’m gonna check them out. I really enjoyed it Mimmi. Hope you do too.

Releasing a record like that, throwing it all away, more like, what a shame.

Live Jam All those songs never get old. Do you have the box set of Fire and Skill? It’s got 4 or 6 live gigs in there I think. I’ve not seen in person more than once and passed on it as it was quite expensive. But I see it’s on iTunes now.

I also have a cassette tape of 100 Club which I bought in London decades ago.

Never heard a single Sex Pistols track so listened to Never Mind the Bollocks. Didn't like a single song on it which is rare. Am I missing something? Are their other albums any different? Thought I'd check out their later stuff but yeah... Anarchy in the UK, God Save The Queen and Holidays in the Sun. If you don't like those three songs then they arent for you.

Thought I'd check out their later stuff but yeah... It's 100% pure unadulterated irreverent energy captured in the moment and not diluted the tiniest bit. It lit the music world on fire when the music world needed to be lit on fire. No Sex Pistols, no Definitely Maybe. But it's way more in your face. They truly did not give a ...

What an amazing discovery. An EP full of melodic noise pop which sounds a lot like Pavement but you can still hear their MBV influence well in the guitar tones.
