Really beautiful. I hadn't realised that they'd carved out as much of a sound as they had. I'm officially a fan.

Tried out a bit of The Doors today. Uploaded L.A. Woman on my MP4 and listened to it twice throughout the day. It's not the kind of music I'm very familiar with or that I listen to that often, but I guess this blues, blues rock is something one grows into over time. Obviously, Riders of the Storm has brought my attention to their existence, I first heard its Snoop Dogg rendition in NFS Underground 2. Better times! Anyway, the first impressions are good, I'm looking forward to explore their music even more. Jim Morrison had a hell of a voice!

I was just thinking the other day how this record disappeared so quickly. Like a fart in the wind. I guess that was the plan with few promotional gigs and tour. We shall see if they re-emerge later this year with another record. The only tracks I still listen to from this LP with any frequency are Church, Orphans, Arabesque and Champion of The World.

This is my second-favourite song from the record. Makes me feel like I'm in some spooky old black-and-white cartoon.

I gather it’s their most avant-garde metal album? If you have some better recommendations then hit me up! X

I've always been into the Beatles but I've never dug into Beatles-related post-Beatles material that much. Now I'm listening to imagine, and I have to say, it's a great-great album. Especially the first half of it with Crippled Inside, Jealous Guy and Give Me Some Truth.
