These 3 albums are very similar quality-wise, and DOYS and BHN are similar in sounding too.
I left off WTSMG and DM for obvious reasons, as well as SOTSOG and HC
DOYS gets my vote, and I love all 3 listed above, so it's a really tough call

DOYS gets my vote. I love BHN and DBTT
DBTT is to "average"
BHN has alot of great hits, radio friendly songs (Dont Go Away, All Around The World,Stand By Me, DYKWIM) but im not a fan of My Big Mouth, Fade In Out or Magic Pie.
DOYS is the best of these

Such a tough call between BHN & DOYS. I had to say DOYS because that's all I've been listening to as of late and I love it. BHN has a few songs that I don't really like, but the ones I do are fucking brilliant. Tough, but I have to say:
1. DOYS 2. BHN 3. DBTT

DOYS easily. The first half of BHN and DOYS are easy rivals (except Magic Pie which is horrid), but the problem for BHN comes in the middle part. Once you hit The Girl In The Dirty Shirt it's all downhill until All Around The World. Not to mention the worst ending for any Oasis album, would have been better to just have It's Getting Better (Man!!) to close it off. Even the weaker tunes on DOYS flow with the album, it's a very cohesive album.
DBTT doesn't hold a candle to either.

DOYS BHN DBTT
Magic Pie sucks, Fade In Out aint great, AATW Reprise isnt bad, I like it, The Girl In The Dirty Shirt is a great tune, Be Here Now (Song) gets old, My Big Mouth isnt all that great either.
DOYS is alot better than BHN, like I said before, too many people are just hangin out to BHN because it was either their first Oasis album or that was the time period they got into Oasis. Im not saying its that way for everyone, because some people probably really do just like BHN better, but you see alot of posts of people here and you can just tell they almost feel obligated to defend BHN by saying DOYS isnt as good

It's too early to say what DOYS is really all about. Give it another month, at least.
I can't decide between DBTT and BHN. Both albums are great albums, but for completely different reasons. BHN has GREAT tunes but is overdone. It has "classics" DBTT is good start-to-finish and is more consistent - ie less filler.
My vote would be a vote against DOYS, but I'm going to just pick BHN because I have a soft spot for it.

finally someone revealed the truth behind people's preference of BHN. and what might possibly have caused the existence of the aforementioned soft spots? certainly not the music, right? and wouldnt you agree that the fuss about DOYS is partly due to the fact it's a new release. i think you would I agree with you that DOYS is getting votes maybe because it is new. the wisest thing to do would be to give it some time. i still have good memories of the raving reactions from fans towards DBTT when it came out.

Fair enough - I like your point of view, Chocolate Starfish. I'm still waiting on DOYS - waiting for a while, I gather.
