Wonderwall....The "Hey Jude" of the 90's. We dont talk about it much around here because everyone knows the song, die hards normally dont talk about it. But it really is a great song, and I defnitley think its one of the best songs ever. I think it was the best song of the 90's as well.

Overplayed but the lyrics are just perfect. "There are many things that I'd like to say to you but I don't know how"...That's one of the most honest and powerful lyrics I've ever heard, yet it's so incredibly simple. That's what makes Noel, Noel. Taking something so simple and making it into something great

Wonderwall was a massivley huge worldwide hit for a reason. If you ask me, it WAS one of the best songs of the 90's, if not the best. Great guitar,Great drums, Bass is great, Liams vocals are spot on. Its just an overall amazing song

Should be a 'Yes but...' option. It is a great song, but compared to other Oasis songs? No way - it's one of those Oasis songs that I don't listen to much.

Yes, absolutely. Of course you'll get the people saying "it's overplayed", but so is fucking Stairway To Heaven, Bohemian Rhapsody, Hey Jude, etc that's what happens to big tunes and it didn't stop any of those tunes from becoming classics.
Ten years on the song still affects people and I don't see that changing.

yeah it truly is. Everything in that song is superb. From the lyrics, guitar riff, to the under rated drums. Its a great tune. Yes its overplayed and its a shame thats one of the few songs that most American's know them by but its a great fucking tune. That song made people pick up the guitar and learn how to play it. It has inspired thousands of people to learn guitar and start a band. You look at the Britpop scene in its later years just about every band was trying to write that song. From Travis to Coldplay.

One of the best anthems ever? Yes!

One of the best songs ever? No, not even in Oasis' best songs One of the best anthems ever? Yes! To say "Wonderwall" is not one of Oasis best songs is just utter bull shit. Like I said earlier, weather we like it or not, Wonderwalll IS the song that defines Oasis to the masses of people on this earth. Wonderwall is epic, not my favorite Oasis song, But you gotta give it credit. There is no Oasis song bigger than Wonderwall, and you cant argue with that.

Another Brick in the Wall Part 2 would be the song that defines Pink Floyd, but is it "one of the best songs ever" or one of Pink Floyds best songs?? Fuck no.

Yes definitely. It's a classic in the making even though it's not Oasis's best ever song.

One of the most unfairly criticized and mocked songs of all the time, that's for sure.

Good, solid tune. A mega hit, so one of the best songs ever. But there are a lot better Oasis tunes than this one.
