all i can say is some poor bastad is having a really really bad day right about now...so i think we should take time to thank the guy who just dropped the itunes ball, and gave up any chance of a chirstmas bonus.
Great damn tune....cant wait to get my hands on this album

Catch the wheel that breaks the butterfly I cry a rain that fills the ocean wide A tried to talk to god to no avail Calling up in and out of nowhere But if you won't save me please don't waste my time

Oasis are massive in Japan aren't they? But it could be another mistake like when DBTT was leaked by German itunes in '05. It doesn't really matter. Bring on TSOTL on Friday!!!

Liking it so far, the production is definitely richer and I'm liking the more energised purposeful feel to the song. Easily wipes the floor with the remix.
edit: Funny that we got to hear this before the single after the hype about TSOTL.

Absoloutley nothing like DBTT. Theres thought and energy and belief and time and effort put into this song that surpasses anything off DBTT.
Of course I can't take myself seriously right now, This is the first few listens. On the first liam Gem sneezing has more effort than dbtt, I just like that it's not formulaic, its crazy and everywhere and its not repetitive. It's just bloody brilliant. SOTSOG levels of brilliance.
Anyone agree?

Lyrics: Summer sun, that blows my mind Is falling down on all that I've ever known Time will kiss the world goodbye Falling down on all that I've ever known Is all that I've ever known
A dying scream makes no sound Calling out to all that I've ever known Here am I, lost and found Calling out to all.
We live a dying dream If you know what I mean And I that I've ever known It's all that I've ever known
Catch the wheel that breaks the butterfly A crying rain that fills the ocean wide I tried to talk with God to no avail Calling up in and out of nowhere Said "if you won't save me, please don't waste my time"
Catch the wheel that breaks the butterfly A crying rain that fills the ocean wide I tried to talk with God to no avail Calling up in and out of nowhere Said "if you won't save me, please don't waste my time"
Summer sun, that blows my mind Is falling down on all that I've ever known Time will kiss the world goodbye Falling down on all that I've ever known Is all that I've ever known
great stuff

I love itunes!!! ;D
Dude this song is absolutely nothing like I expected!! much like Tomorrow Nevers Knows I'd say (someone probably compared to it already, but i couldn't bother to read all the posts)... and it's kinda raw, no wonder looks like a demo! I guess this means the boys are really going through a different path this time... can't wait to hear the whole album... this is definitely gonna be something else.... oh, and i love the lyrics, the chorus is fuckin good
