Oasis Invite Fans To Appear In Music Video Robert Downey Jr did it for Elton, Jack Black did it for the Foo Fighters and Kate Moss did for the White Stripes. Now you, yes YOU can join the ranks and star in Oasis’ next music video. The Manchester foursome are opening their (as yet to be confirmed famous London concert venue) doors and inviting fans to take part as extras in the video for their next single, Stop The Clocks. The shoot itself will take part on the evening of Tuesday 12th September and will last about 4 hours. So, if you fancy being forever captured on celluloid on an Oasis music video simply email your Name, Age (no under 16s I’m afraid), a photograph and mobile number to oasis@hsilondon.co.uk The lucky applicants will be contacted with details of time and place. Good luck!! For more info and other Oasis news articles go to www.oasisnet.comxfm online

Do they know this for sure or are they just guessing?
It doesn't say anywhere that this has been confirmed... I'm still thinking it's the re-recorded Acquiesce.

I hate to disagree, but I think XFM has it right. The only support for it being an Aquiesce video comes from The Sun and the fact that it's being released as a single in Japan. Who are you going to believe XFM or The Sun? Take your pick, but I'm going with XFM.

Who are you going to believe XFM or The Sun? Take your pick, but I'm going with XFM. Two points here a) XFM was one of the websites which rewrote The Sun's article about the Stop The Clocks tracklisting including Stop The Clocks and The Boy With The Blues - the article which was flat-out denied by Oasisinet. b) This XFM article is a total rewrite of the Oasisinet e-mail, apart from the title. XFM don't say where they got the information of the title from. I think they're getting the two Stop The Clocks (song and album) mixed up.

Those are valid points, but it means that XFM is just guessing wildly about what the single is going to be, yet they are stating it as fact. At 2 different places in the article, they emphasize that STC is indeed the single. There is the first mention, and then they mention again that STC is not only the title of the single, but also the album as a whole. "The Manchester foursome are opening their (as yet to be confirmed famous yet currently secret London concert venue) doors and inviting fans to take part as extras in the video for their next single, 'Stop The Clocks'. "and also For more info go to www.oasisnet.com and for a chance to vote for the tracklisting of the upcoming Oasis greatest hits (also called 'Stop The Clocks') see a special screening of the band's brand new tour film 'Don't Slow Me Down' click here.

I think all this speculation and hoping will only lead us to disappointment. Let's just take a couple months off mentally, then see where it all falls..

Well, seeing as the video was for Acquiesce, then it shows XFM don't know their arse from their elbow.
