Currently back listening to powerpop- cheers @driver7 ! Good to hear haha, been really into that stuff lately. Just drinking and listening the The View with my mate. He loves them and one of the reasons for that is that he spent his youth around that band and got to hang out with the boys. I actually met Kyle and Kieren last year because of him which was fun

When I hear this song and put it in perspectiva of when was released Adore must have been quite troublesome to make. But, still this and The End is The Beginning is The End is peak Smashing Pumpkins Both those songs came at an interesting time for the band. About 1.5 years after Mellon Collie and 1.5 years before Adore. Eye was a demo leftover from Mellon and when it was re-imagined in 1997 it pointed the way Adore would eventually go. No pun intended but I absolutely adore Adore. It sound more like a Corgan record. The production is marvelous. Sounds like it could come out next week and still sound fresh.

Love singing along to this when I'm home alone. For the most part I haven't a clue what Sly's singing, but the vocal melody is such a groove that it works whatever you put on top of it.

First time I see the music video of this song in youtube. The samples of Maduro speaking about the band make this one better. The samples arent broadcast in tv when I have seen the music video in local tv and its abruptly cut off after the singer is crowdsurfing😂
