Every album they've made has atleast a few psychedelic songs or parts in songs...not to mention SOTSOG is considered a psychedelic album. So the question is should they be considered a psychedelic band along with the whole rock/britpop thing? Or no?
I think any band that makes songs like Gas Panic, The Cage, Fade In-Out, Champagne Supernova, Who Feels Love, BOADC, etc.. should be considered to be partly psychedelic. They're not Pink Floyd and their not the post '67 Beatles, but I still think they should be considered a psychedelic band

They have done some phychedelic stuff but are not a phychedelic band for anymeans, can't see any true phychedelic band coming out with something like cigarrettes and alcohol!

nah not really. They've been pretty conservative with their sound actually over the years, and only kind of deviated from it with SOTSOG. After that they moved back to their normal sound.

A part from Standing On The Shoulder, which I consider just an attempt, they were rock at the very beginning and now they are brit-pop, in my opinion...

They have hints of psychedelics, but nothing more. DBTT is indeed very classic British pop.
