Supersonic's solo is very great! Especially at the end of the song. But I read that Noel stole it from the Beatles's song Х) I tried to play solo from the Live Forever and it was so cool, therefore it got the second position of my "solo's rating"

Live Forever, it just gives so much hope. you must need it very bad. LOL. just kidding, its a fucking hopeful song, which is a fucking great thing. That song came out of Noel listening cobain moan about his life, about being in the best and the biggest band in the world, being rich and famous, having the respect. He had everything in the world noel could have wanted. How could this guy on top of the world hate himself and want to die, as when Noel who´s on the dole, wanted to live forever and fucking have it. Its a beatiful song. That song always struck a very deep chord within me. I think im gonna start to cry any minute now , gotta stop...

Not sure if it's my favourite, but D'You Know What Mean? is definitely great, and deserves to be on the list- along with Champagne Supernova

ain't that a harmonica? unless you mean live? haha a harmonica? ? it's Noel playing the electric guitar then a backwards guitar after it. that song is pretty much completely electronic aside from one of the drum lines and obviously the traditional acoustic/bass/electric guitar

None of those can beat the guitar solo of "Champagne Supernova" from Budokan 1998.

I dont think its fair to choose one they are all different . In terms of difficulty L4E and slide away are up there .Noel is surely one of the greatest guitarist/composers of all time

I simply loved the way they used the lower notes on a flute to play the solo. It gave the song more of a psychadelic feel. I actually preferred it that way. I voted for Live Forever.

Yeah I preferred that to the original as well. Along with the demos for PYMWYMI and WFL

They're all "good" they're just not hard. You could learn every solo on a saturday if you didn't have work.
