There seems to be little middle ground for opinion with this song.
Does it do it for you?
I think it's great!
EDIT: Let's say the SOTSOG version

WFL was a good opportunity for oasis to really go nuts with the psychedelic effects ...the production just isn't weird and wild enough for my taste.

Before the 'ipod' explosion I burned my own 'better' version of SOTSOG and I replaced PYMWYMI, Little James and added Carry Us All, Let's All Make Believe & One Way Road.
I also replaced WFL withe the live version on FTM. I think that is mega. The rythym guitar is much more present than the studio version.

A big YES. I love that tune, it's the perfect opener along with Fuckin' In The Bushes and Go Let It Out!

SOTSOG version = Okay. Trying a bit too hard for the Indian-influenced Beatles style
Noel acoustic version = Great tune.

The acoustic version by Noel is brilliant.

The live version was always better than the album version.

Always liked it. It's a bit fake-psychedlia, but the melody/vocals are orgasmic and so is the production. I remember listening to Time Flies as a kid and thinking the verses were just heavenly - especially when Noel does the higher harmonising in the background. The problem is that there was such a dearth of singles from the band in 2000 that it was shoved into the limelight when it should have been an album track on a much better record.

It works for me. Psychedelic with a cool beat and vibe.
