I always tend to listen to albums on random coz i like the bit or surprise of whats coming next. I understand though the songs wont flow like the producer wanted. Wondered what every1 else did?

First time I listen to an album, straight through. Other times I usually just go in the order I like the songs.

In order, I like to believe that good artists had some sort of reason for the way they arranged their albums, as if it should convey something, of corse now albums don't often have theams so it's not too true, but still I think just hitting random destroys the intent of a really good album, that's why I don't skip over Digsey's Diner when I listen to DM.

Trouble with MP3 players, random plays all the time
I know with Opeth for example, Ghost Revries sounds f*cked up, Beneath the mire before Ghost of Perdition and The Grand Conjuration? F*ck off!

Depends on the album. If it's a personal fave then I listen to it in order. If its just so-so then I tend to skip around.
