US audiences definitely behave differently, but it doesn’t mean we are into it less. Watching and listening is how we do it - it’s respect - when people start talking etc then you’ve lost them. Some U.K. bands don’t get it - I watched one band that got madder and madder each song, the irony being people were REALLY into them. this. I've decided that I need to attend at least 2 LG gigs on his next tour... 1 to just watch him and another to listen and go nuts!

US crowds are an utter disgrace. Can’t wait for the day I denounce my US citizenship. Shocking. Liam is on top form though. Can we have a countdown clock?

I'm still mesmerized. I was right in front of him. Definitely, one of if not the best concert. Ashcroft was icing on the cake.. he was seriously incredible. I took some pictures but I really was so in the moment that I didn't want to screw with my vibe.

Here's my feelings- I think something happened with Deb, bc I never saw her or amy.. hence his attitude. I also believe that the mic kept shocking him.. he was in a weird mood, not necessarily angry just weird. I was so close that I couldn't hear him talk but oh my god Ashcroft was Amazing. LG is even more sexier in person. I thought the set was great for my 1st time seeing him, wish there was more from the album but I'm not complaining. Diff band members had issues with sound/ gear at diff times as did Ashcroft. i can barely walk but it was worth it. if you're on the fence about seeing him.. do it. I will be seeing him the next tour. It was definitely an amazing gig. I'll share more, later. I'm still in awe. I tried to be civilized and hang back, but somehow the waters parted and I ended up at the lip of the stage. It was so loud it was hard to hear his voice in the mix, but the acoustic Live Forever was top form. Thing I noticed - every time he turned his back to the audience, he did the Catholic cross. Like he did it a dozen times. Is that what he was doing?? We've all read the stories but please tell me his behavior was genuinely strange particularly the way it ended. Eta nothing new and definitely no BHN.

They were both Amazing. just met Ashcroft Nice one, @jixing! I'm pleased to hear that you could make it. He was very nice and friendly when I met him in 2010. I'm jealous of all you US members who got to see Liam and Ashcroft at same evening.

With the doors opening at 6pm in the California Room, does that also allow you to get into the main venue ahead of the regular line? I'm already flying from Denver for the show so if an extra $25 is needed to make the most of it then why not. Anyone actually been to the California Room before who can comment if its worth it? yes. read what I posted.

stopcryingyourheartoutnews.blogspot.co.uk/2018/05/noel-gallagher-on-fame-rock-stars-and.html?m=1Quotes taken from an interview with Noel Gallagher from the new edition of 'The Red Bulletin'. “When I started, I didn’t want to be famous. I wanted to be rich. Fame? Meh. I’m good at fame. Fame doesn’t bother me. But it wasn’t the driving force. I’ve never considered myself a rock star. Technically speaking I am, sure, but I don’t walk like a rock star. I can talk like one.” “Rock stars today? There are no rock stars left. Rock stars now in England? They’re either really f***ing naff or the wrong side of 40. Or they don’t write their own music and they have nothing to say. Or they have bad hair and even worse shoes.” "You know, when I think of rock music now, I think of Dave Grohl and it’s like, ‘Can you stop shouting, please?’ And I think of Green Day and it’s like, ‘Can you stop moaning, please?’ All dressed the same, all with tattoos, f***ing earrings and dyed hair". “That’s not where I’m coming from. I’ve never been like that.” “Bands are owned by their fans because they’re in touch with them on social media, and their fans dictate to them what they want, and their record company dictates to them what they should be doing,” he said. “I’m sorry, but nobody f***ing owns me. They don’t own my thoughts or what I wear or who I want to be in my band.” Read the full interview in the June issue of The Red Bulletin, out with the Standard on Tuesday

LP SAM MOORE APR 17, 2018 10:28 AM EDT Noel Gallagher has defended the psychedelic direction of the most recent High Flying Birds album ‘Who Built The Moon?’, saying that he “never gave a fuck” about upsetting any of his fans with his solo music. ‘Who Built The Moon?’ was the third studio album from Gallagher and the High Flying Birds, and came out back in November 2017. The record saw Gallagher adopt what NME described as a “free-wheeling solo freedom” in terms of its musical direction. Speaking about the making of ‘Who Built The Moon?’ in a new Discogs documentary, Gallagher explained that he did recognise that some of his fans had been hoping that he would make a return to more Oasis-friendly material with the record
