No challenge really Elvis having a Christmas album out in October wont get close to him.He has had months of pre orders I would think them alone would be around 60k minimum will know more next Saturday probably.

Hits double daily he has finished at #28 in the USA but hits double daily is not the official chart it is a indicator official figures from soundscan will be out tommorrow.

I see madonna hasn't started that well you never know could be a close call this week noel is still at #2 and she is only #13 on iTunes and on Amazon he is higher although she will probably sell more physical copies than anything else.

This is the most uncommercial record noel has ever made which makes the sales even more impressive no obvious stand out singles just a great set of songs that work perfectly every album he brings out will be number 1 in the uk anyway.

The usa never got oasis anyway they sold records for a short period of time there the yanks never got them as they never really got other British bands like the smiths suede blur the list is endless.

I agree 120 k is a great opening its not about how long he can stay at number one it's about longevity sustaining sales for a Period of time which I think this album will.
