Amazing performance. His voice is truly the greatest it's been in about 15 years! So glad I recorded it, been listening back to it all day.

I just removed my comments since it's clear people are sensitive. I didnt intend to annoy anyone, but obviously this isnt the place to have an open minded discussion Pity for you that we're narrow minded and don't have scientic knowledge as you do. Sure.

It's good that we have a quote function. I just removed my comments since it's clear people are sensitive. I didnt intend to annoy anyone, but obviously this isnt the place to have an open minded discussion

I dont understand how some people think Liam might be miming. You can literally hear and see him singing live. At the very least there's some post production going on, probably why for the first few seconds it sounded identical to the BBC 2 take. Or Liams just a good singer.

Is it just me or is the vocal distorted a bit? Seems too loud in the mix. Yeah, like its clipping?

We weren't comparing it to a pop/Take That tune. We meant it sounds like a generic/mum-friendly Xmas ballad they pump out every year, like Gary Barlow or Robbie William's would release. Or Frank Sinatra. Mums have good tastes too. 👌 Yeah, I could see Sinatra singing this. Elvis too.

My opinion after several listening: a classic, elegant lovely and moving Xmas tune. I don't see how can it be compared with a pop/take that tune: there isnt any hook and it's not catchy at all. It's very... Traditional I'd say, in a good way. The melody is very very very good. Liam vocals are ok but not at his best imo. We weren't comparing it to a pop/Take That tune. Liam looks way handsomer and younger with longer hair. The chairs being so far apart on the show makes me cringe.

Refined melodic line that ranges over various tones, technically the most demanding sung by Liam. I am amazed! Ever heard Liam try and hit those high notes on 'FWIW' live? That was demanding.

Masterpiece. Fantastic melody and the best studio vocal of Liam ever. Really?

It's basically a Gary Barlow song, but with Liams vocals. Nice to hear Liams voice as always, but I have no desire to listen to this again.

What constitutes a 'reasonable fee' differs from person to person. Personally, I think a lot of people are struggling just now with job insecurity and losses. £5-£10 max would have been a nice gesture and I think more would be willing to buy into it. I'm sure it will do well, but I'm going to give it a miss. Yeah my thoughts exactly. Can't personally justify spending nearly £17 on this. If the £17 included a download of the gig, it might be justifiable

The email does say he's doing songs we havent heard for a long, long time, so I'm kinda intrigued. If he performs Gas Panic, it will be worth it for me.

I predict it will be the generic setlist, with maybe one or two old songs ressurected. If I end up paying for this, I'll record the audio and share it here (if its allowed)

not even with Oasis has there ever been such a special event. I am very excited! 20€ for a pre recorded online gig ain't special to me. I don't care if it's on a boat, on a rooftop or on the moon.. No new music too Same for me. Cant believe he's actually charging money for this. I assumed it would be uploaded to is YouTube channel.

Richard Ashcroft is ok but I don't think I really want him to do something with Liam. I would sooner Liam stuck with what he's doing now with his army of songwriters. Just one collab song together would be enough. Richard's guest vocals on a Liam track, or vice versa.

Ah ok, thanks. Prob just a friends and family day together then. That's what I got from it also I hope they do something together soon. Richard's next album is an acoustic album of his old songs, so clearly he's out of ideas.

Who is 'the guru'? And yeah, please let it be a collab with Ashcroft. 'The guru' is his girlfriend and manager, Debbie. Ah ok, thanks. Prob just a friends and family day together then.

Alternate video for Bittersweet Symphony, where Richard gets beaten up and different ending.

To those who think the virus isn't an issue, what exactly would convince you that it is? What exactly are you even looking for? If I met someone or even saw someone with symptoms on a regular basis. I know you're gonna say 'just cos you dont see it, doesnt mean it doesnt exist', but that's what would convince me of something being more contagious than the flu. Also, hospitals actually being overrun.

Tinfoil hat mate lol. Funny thing is that I don't read or believe in any conspiracy theories. And now we are crazy and you paranoid lunatics are some reasonable pro-science people. It's not conspiracy if it's true and I can prove it. I am talking about numbers and propaganda. Did I ever mention Bill Gates, 5G, vaccines...? No you didn’t mention Gates or 5G but you also seem to be putting over a point of view that somehow we are all being lied to about COVID by different governments all over the world for some reason, and COVID is not as dangerous as we are being led to believe - referring to your comments here regarding tennis tournaments and your 50 healthy mates. So aye, you are coming across as a tinfoil hat wearing, moon howling crackpot to me I’m afraid. The problem is that even if evidence or studies are posted, they are just disregarded and not given any discussion. I've posted links here already, and there isnt even a 'hm, interesting, I didn't know that. Maybe I should do some more research.'

I feel the same way. I respect your beliefs, but it's very frustrating when facts are provided here, but just completely ignored. Theres nothing wrong with questioning the official media narrative and making your own conclusions. I DO NOT respect any belief that contributes to suffering and death. Fuck anybody that is so selfish. Same here
