Liam recorded Fallon today.
Has it aired yet?
So sorry for everyone who is missing out on these shows and had travel plans 😥 Happened to me once when my husband and I flew out to NYC to see Morrissey and he cancelled a few hours before show time... 🙄

Message for Photogirl: As usual, great job with the photos, Lisa. You captured the man and the moment. And he was a real trooper - being sick and all! Thank you! I was quite happy with the shots despite he put being super tiny and the stage being quite high! Best part was him giving me a big high five in the pit the moment he walked on-stage 😍

NYC looked like it was amazing! So jealous! My friend Tina caught the tambourine - I am dying to know details but I suspect she’s sleeping haha - did anyone see him throw it to her and when?

I did, but from the balcony so a bit far off. You can see him reach down though. Here's my video Yes!! This shows my high five! Hahaha thank you! Funny it looks like it! I do know he literally walked right into the building and pretty much looked at the gifts I got for him, signed our stuff and went straight on, so maybe?

Well I had a fucking fantastic night! So I made some welcome to Toronto backpacks and the whole band (minus Liam and Mike - Mike was taking a quick nap and Liam wasn’t getting there until a split moment before the gig) came out so I could give them their gifts! It was awesome and they were really lovely to me! Jay in particular was so fantastic to chat with! The guys particularly got a kick out of the custom Toronto beer I made (well, not made but customized Mill Street Organic) with Liam GalLAGER labels (hehehe...) I did bring along the tambourine Liam tossed me in Montreal and thanks to Liam’s amazing crew he signed it a few moments before he went on-stage. Apparently he also went through his backpack and loved it all, including the beer! 😆 So I was shooting for Live4Ever tonight, and I did both a set up shoot with Warbly Jets plus the first 3 for both WJ and Liam. Liam walks out onstage, and I’m in the pit screaming (hahaha), and Liam reaches right down and gives me a massive smack of a high five!! He even posed for me for a bit when he was sitting on the drum riser during song 2 I think it was. Anyway I know he seemed pissed but he was in a good mood early on at least. I guess I watched the rest of the show with my rose coloured glasses on because I didn’t notice anything else but others said he was pissed. OH! Also got a Liam towel tossed to me, which pairs perfectly with he tambourine 😁 So yeah! Check out my Instagram if you wanna see pics of everything here: instagram.com/lisa_rock_photographerYour Instagram photos are absolutely amazing! Fantastic work!! I've wanted to be a rock photographer for some time, so I'm very intrigued by your work! Congrats on your autograph from him (and incredible memorabilia!) Sounds like it was an awesome night! Thank you Natalie! It doesn’t pay the bills but it sure makes for a wonderful passion project. I did it years back and just got back into shooting gigs. Having a lot of fun with it lately!

My cousin's son who lives in Toronto was at the gig with his friends last night. He was in a front queue. I just saw you've shoot Mr. Weller when he played in Toronto as well. Great pics as always! Cheers Mimmi! Yes I shot Weller the other day, he was wonderful as always!

The moment I saw the maracas I instantly though “tribute to Ian Brown” for some reason.

I can't wait for the Toronto show on Thursday! Anyone else here gonna be there? Ahhhhhh. First time seeing Liam on stage. That said, I was hoping for 16-17 songs -- Noel played 15 when he co-headlined with Ryan Adams in Detroit (who played right around 14-15 songs himself), so this seems short. It does feel like, for the U.S. tour, he should add Wonderwall to the end of his regular set to satisfy the casual fans in the house, and continue closing his encore with Live Forever (for the madferit in the house). I also wouldn't mind Chinatown and/or Supersonic in there somewhere. That'd be an amazing setlist IMHO. I'll be there and I just got confirmation I'll be shooting the first 3 songs officially for L4E! I'm so exccciiiittteedddd!!!!

Thanks for the updated info! It’s always been harder to meet Liam vs Noel because Noel always did more public press, etc. so there were always more opportunities. Me and my kid met Liam before the San fran show, at the back door after his sound check. He was in a hurry but nice enough to give my daughter an autograph. We were the only ones waiting That's awesome! So glad he stopped for you guys Thanks for the info!

I was instantly in love with Dead In The Water. It's like old-school Noely G. coming out to play for an Oasis b-side.

I was always told it was way easier to meet the band prior to the show a few hours... Thats how I met Noel during the last tour in Vegas after soundcheck. Sure, but that was for Noel. For Liam, different story. He apparently sporadically does soundcheck - and there's no real way to say he will be there or not. In San Francisco, he came out for a few minutes before the show. In LA, many people (including me) were waiting for him before the show. We even waited while the opening act was playing until he finally drove in the garage down the venue. Never met the fans before the show because they were already tight on time. So he didn't come out for photos and autographs until 12:30 after the show. And that was basically a disaster because of the 30 or so people who also were waiting for him were all pushing and shoving each other along the barricade for Liam to do all these things. I know so and I was there - and I walked away with nothing. So you've been warned :-) Thanks for the updated info! It’s always been harder to meet Liam vs Noel because Noel always did more public press, etc. so there were always more opportunities.

So general consensus so far is that he doesn't really come to soundcheck / people aren't really running into him there this tour, correct? Whereas Noel you're guaranteed to see him at soundcheck.

1. Totally agree re: lack of women’s stuff. There are totally enough girl fans to warrant some.
2. I can’t even see the merch linked in the email, I think as I’m in Canada I get redirected to another store. Anyone else having this issue?
3. Tired of no options for me I opted to make my own t-shirt for the Toronto show instead! My friend and I will be wearing them.

This guy.....bless nice mix up with the set list I was front row center — first to queue from 9:00am in the freezing cold (flight left Dallas at 5:50am to Denver and ubered straight the venue). Gig was great. His voice was the best I’ve ever seen live and he was very pleased with the crowd. However, he didn’t play supersonic (did cigs/alc) despite what the setlist says, which was surprising, bc I was close enough to see the setlist when they taped it on the floor... Things I recall him saying during the gig: “Hello Denver! Seeing that you lot have been on the ganja.” “You’re fucking rowdy Denver. What do they put in the ganja over here? Whoa. You lot are fucking [larry]??” Someone shouted fuck potatoes between songs and he stopped, turned around, and said, “whose said that then? Fuck potatoes? Look, I’m not gonna have you saying anything about potatoes.” He commented a few times about Man City bc some people a few rows back brought a flag. I threw a parka monkey pin/button on stage and he looked at it, pounded his chest and mimed “that’s me.” Said something about a bird before slide away. Walked the tambourine to a fairly young guy (20 maybe) and told him, “you’ve some set of pipes on you young man.” Pointed at me during the ‘yeah, you fucking are’ bit at the end of RnR star. Bantered with/pointed at me several times throughout and seemed to like my TCB hat. If think of anything else, I’ll edit this post. Edit: security walked the barricade before he came on and told everyone no photos or you’re booted. I snuck one, but my friends who were 2nd/3rd row got some. Edit: during the very last line in the ‘we’re gonna live forever’ refrain bit, the timing was noticably off. He recovered, shot the guitarist a stern look, and stormed off the stage without saying anything else. Edit: changed his mic mid set, and from then on, he was kissing (peck) it regularly between vox in songs. Thanks for the run down of the gig and props for standing in line I think he cold for so long! True fan. I’m surprised to hear about security warning re: photos before the show - that’s not common. Like it’s common to call people out but to walk and give a talk beforehand I’ve only seen done during Prince. Sounds like he’s really enjoying each gig which is great! Really feeding off the energy of the crowd. I caught some of that live periscope from Denver last night, he sounded great!
