Shame some “fans” have to spread so much negativity. That's indeed really awful and I can't understand it.
Accepting the facts instead of spreading negativity and living in denial is what needs to be done. Love & peace & wisdom to everyone.

yeah, well you can prove anything with facts 😤 For example that Noel's doing better than ever with his cosmic pop?

Not much at all! But obviously still too much for some users here If you really want to find negative stats for Noel, you're going to find them - same goes for any artist. How is "not as big as singles from the other albums" any measure of success other than success for your crusade of finding facts and evidence of Noel's so called backlash. Facts are now called a crusade
Peace & love & wisdom

"Just laying down the facts..." 😇😇 It's sad that you're so dedicated to a point where you come across as obsessed with proving Noel as a failur, hiding behind facts and desperately looking for evidence for his "backlash". £10 says you're wearing a parka indoors and blasting Shockwave out at full volume. What is sad is that instead of at least trying to understand my postings, you only stick to your prejudices.

[Why are you even here mate? You come across as very bitter and eager to prove Noel as a failure. Has he insulted you or something? Are you... Liam? 😮😮 Nothing bitter is going on here. Just laying down the facts and pointing out the truth. Why? Particularly as they’re not doing the same thing. Noel's a plumber?

To be fair, both Mossy and I provided data and arguments. We've answered Mono's questions several times with reasoned responses. Not much else to say really... Lol. I am not the one who needs private lessons in how the music industry works and how to find out whether an artist is successful or not. How well exactly are we expecting a 52-year-old to be faring in the modern music scene, after 25 years in the business? Maybe as good as the other brother? Couple things.... - There is no point in actually producing CD single physically anymore. I don’t even have a CD player anymore. That includes my cars. Eventually they won’t even make albums on CDs. Old news. - Holy Mountain is a big solo hit for Noel. Yes it “only” got to #31 but it lasted in the charts for 10 weeks. That is a long time for a wrinkled old Noel Gallagher. When I saw Noel in Camden this summer it was the song that got the crowd most fired up outside Oasis material. Not as big as the singles from previous albums - Just because some people on Twitter or this forum bang the pots and the pans the loudest doesn’t actually mean anything they are saying is actually valid. I totally agree. The great myth that Holy Mountain got a terrible reaction and MOON didn’t sell are extremely inaccurate when using what limited data tools are remaining (streams, physical sales, chart placement, tour sales). So you've got "better data" that proves that in fact it did very well? - Most artist as time goes on and they get older sell less and less of their products. It happens to everyone. So it’s really not fair to Oasis or Liam or Noel and compare it to their previous glory days. As long as the artists are happy making music and sharing it is all that should matter. NGHFB and CY were Noels glory days? - It’s been a tremendous run with this band and brothers. Let’s all just try and enjoy it in our golden years. I enjoy (most of) the remixes That doesn't change the facts I'm pointing out. The track from his last EP I enjoy most is the one with the least streams. Success can be measured, taste cannot.

The Dense & Pika Remix is out on all streaming services. And it's by far the worst NGHFB remix ever released

It could indeed turn out to be quite hard to sell all the stuff as current PG customers are used to £150 GL overhead jackets that are 50% off after a few weeks. The old 'tribe' of the early high quality days may have already moved on to Stone Island, Engineered Garments and Nigel Cabourn to purchase these designs.

He's relying solely on the vinyl format. So that's the reason people don't listen to his songs? Because you can't stream a record? He's not charting as high with the greater variety of formats because he's bascially ignoring streaming, which counts toward the charts. He's not ignoring streaming. Users are ignoring his new music. He's ignoring streaming because he's looking solely for profit, not for higher chartings. Higher chartings = higher profits. Relying on vinyls grants him the same profits CDs once did, I'm sure you can prove that. without spending extra money on streaming, More inside knowledge from you while only sacrificing a couple extra spots on the charts because there's not that much extra prestige between charting at #31 or 21. I thought it was about profit? Mono has proved beyond a doubt that Noel is a failure. His new music is not as popular as the older solo tunes. If you want to call this a failure: I won't stop you.

Who sells CDs anymore? I don't even think you can buy the EPs in that format. Noel has moved on from the CD as the dominant physical format, like everyone else, and has bought into the speciality/multiple vinyl format market instead. And it's obviously very profitable for him. Are you sure you got my postings? Because I am not.

Noel should just retire now hey? Clearly he’s making a massive loss and his band and crew are working for free on goodwill. X I cannot read this anywhere in my postings.

No. In a world with a dying physical market, it says everything. This statement isn’t quite true. Vinyl sales are actually increasing. It’s a niche market but clearly profitable for Noel who consistently tops the physical charts. It is true. Vinyl sales may be rising but CD sales are dying faster. And if it had so much impact: why is his music less sucessfull although he releases it in more and more (vinyl) formats? You said the EP didn’t chart but I think it was actually ineligible due to the number of tracks. Still clearly a profitable enterprise for Noely Poly, especially as he gets all the royalties being independent with no co-writers. X The singles didn't chart as well.
Of course it remains profitable!

It says Noel's team has a different business model. That's it. No. It says he has a different audience. And his music becomes less relevant.

That's why pointing out his streaming numbers is bascially saying nothing. No. In a world with a dying physical market, it says everything.

You can basically chart the lowering of his single sales to the change of rules relying on Spotify streams instead of physical sales. You wanna imply that he doesn't manage to attract new audiences but pisses on his old fans?

NGHFB lead single 2011: #15 CY lead single 2014: #26 WBTM lead single 2017: #31 EP lead singles: fail to chart NGHFB singles: black vinyl CY singles: black vinyl + coloured vinyl (online store) WBTM singles + EPs: black vinyl + coloured vinyl + picture disc (online store) Despite releasing his music in more and more formats, it's less and less successful. Who's to blame? The unsophisticated Oasis fans

Are these going to be as difficult to get as Yeezy boost? Probably. And people will pay outrageous prices on Ebay. I don't share the hype. In the end it's just a white trainer.
