40 hours long curfew, 9 hours left. I was having panic attacks just thinking about this weekend but it was actually better than I expected. It's so quiet and calm outside, it was actually very peaceful weekend.

I'm climbing Under a sky so blue it yearns Hand over hand Carrying all the memories And don't look down On fate or fame I tumble and glide Into the white white tide Whirling and whirling And let the slamming waves decide my fate Because hope is all I need

2nd day hungover. It's not bad but I spent all night cleaning my flat and now im at the airport and i feel shit coz i didnt sleep last night and i dont know whether im feeling like this from the hangover, sleep deprivation or an actual illness. Also i gotta be driving till 4am tonight and ive already been up for quite long so hope im in the condition to drive. A little update. I felt slightly anxious during my flight to London. I dunno, there was something in the take off that made me nervous. Probably normal turbulence... But then during the landing just a couple of seconds before we would've touched the ground the plane suddenly pulled back up and I just thought "I knew something was wrong!" and started wondering why it failed. But it turns out the real reason was that there was another aircraft on the runway and we had to avoid that. Doubt it was anything serious but it immediately reminded me of this flight accident where two planes hit each other on the runway and were totally destroyed. Also I still feel shit physically but I think it's just sleep deprivation, hopefully I can return back to my normal sleep schedule now that im back in Finland.

OMFG, I'm in love. I hope her music is 10% good as her look. Or her husband's? I'm starting to learn French, drink bottle of wine a day and listen only French music. Give me some good music from your country you French bastards Vive la France!

This quarantine with an acoustic guitar has been good. I've already written a solid base for two different songs since yesterday. One of them only lacks lyrics for the chorus anymore and the 2nd one which I just came up with this morning has chords and melody for both the verse and chorus. After that I just went to continue my breakfast but I'll be back to it It's really different to be able to play while knowing absolutely no one will hear you. I immediately feel more courageous with melodies. I low key fear I accidentally ripped off the Velvets though, I can hear What Goes On in the chords... But maybe it doesn't matter. On a different note, I started watching a documentary called Bones Brigade and it again reminded me why Rodney Mullen was and still is one of my heroes even though I don't even skate anymore.

How do I get my bookmarked threads to stop notifying me of updates in my normal notifications? Aside from unbookmarking them, of course. Didn't they use to only show up as notifications in a separate bookmarks tab?

Just finished one of my songs. Well, "finished"... I basically managed to record the whole thing with lyrics and everything but I might still change the lyrics because honestly I'm not currently very happy with them. I feel like I'm trying to say too much while actually saying fuck all. But I just counted everything I've recorded this week and I realised I've got 9 different things underway. A few guitar riffs and two bass riffs that I could use later and the rest of the recordings already have more structure. That combined with all the stuff I've been doing in the past couple of years and I really think I could have an album worth of songs in the near future. I have at least 7 other projects from the past months so there's plenty of stuff to work on. Fuck knows how long it's gonna take though, reminds me of this thing Jim Reid said about Psychocandy taking 5 years to make: "If we were normal people, we would've done it in a month, but we're terribly lazy... so it took 5 years." This has been a project of mine for a year now and I've literally done nothing to it since and now I feel like it could be an instrumental album opener actually. I honestly have no idea how to put vocals in it but maybe it could have some kind of minimalist approach, maybe some kind of mantra or something on the background basically. Of course I'd be reworking it but there are definitely things in it I want to keep the same. clyp.it/mofnj2p1I have ideas for this as well but I've totally forgotten how to play it. I only remember that I didn't use any open chord shapes so that's kind of a problem... clyp.it/qe2cqohm
