I Just played the album for the first time in a few weeks and it's a solid 8/10 for me. ItBfeels like a real album. John's playing really elevates the songs to a standard that Liam hasn't came close to in a long long time. The only dud for me is Make it up... On Liam's IG they quoted "When the dust settles, it's 10 great songs" and I pretty much agree with this statement. It's a very good rock album that has done 2024 some good in terms of music

I've been listening to the album every day since it came out (as soon as I have some time). I continue to love it. It's compact and sounds like a real album. It still doesn't tire me. Liam's voice is the finest on record since the 1999-2002 era.

This album leaves me cold. So go grab a Liam Gallagher John Squire blanket from the merch shop for $49.99.

Last post until next album
As a 42 year old Canadian from Toronto and 30 year lover of Oasis, flying to see him in Brooklyn with the wife was a top 10 highlight for me. I’ve seen them approx 25 times, flown to manchester etiad 2022, seen them front row calgary stadium 2008, got the police called on us in paris1998 singing don’t look back in anger on top of a building yet this was a fantastic 2024 trip!
Absolutely loved the album and likely one of the few who was happy with them just keeping it to what it is. I feel bad for the 27 year old I spoke to who never saw them live and just wanted to hear oasis songs. I get it.
I was probably one of the few into songs like Love you forever, one day at a time but man when it clicks it clicks. That’s the most exciting either brother have been since 2005 and maybe since 1997. Glad to have been there! What a beautiful venue!
Sorry to hear about your camera.

Oh damn, that's so sad, why are people so evil? I hope Charlie has most of the stuff he shot during the tour already saved somewhere else or on other cameras. Imagine if most of the footage is lost now, that would truly be awful and devastating

Not sure if there's anything else still to come, but with that last tour date in New York this album cycle may be done now. That was really a quick one!
Less than two months until the Definitely Maybe tour, Liam will be busy with rehearsals starting next month.

Really hope so. Although a small part of me says they should bow out now. Fawlty Towers/UK Office style - go out on a high and leave the fans wanting more.

Were there any more remixes or was the Looking Glass Alice remix of JAR the only one?

So...
I wasn't the biggest fan of Just Another Rainbow and Mars To Liverpool.
My expectations were low, and then I loved this album on first listen.
Almost two months on with completely rinsing it, do I still love it? I think I love it even more.
OK singles aren't what they used to be, with great b-sides etc, but which track do people think should be the next single (sent to radio stations)?
For me, it's One Day At A Time. It has, arguably for me, the best chorus on the album and it's everything I wanted this collaboration between Liam and JS to be.
Love You Forever, I'm A Wheel and You're Not The Only one can remain as sensational album tracks for the fans.
Thoughts?

I hope that they don't release any more singles from the album as I think that enough has already been released especially for a 10 track album.

One Day At A Time is a great song and indeed my favourite on the album, should have been a single imo, but I doubt there will be another single now

Another thing I've been meaning to ask...
I read a few people say that some of Squire's guitar parts sound 'off' on the album i.e. out of sync or misaligned to the melody.
As someone who plays guitar, I can't pick out any of these.
Does anyone have any examples?

Number one with Defined Universal Sales figures of 39,427 For a bit of context, Taylor Swift is currently number one in the Tuesday midweeks with 223,288 Defined Universal Sales.
