So he's rehearsing TIOBI as well. Love the tune but there's a whole new level of predictable.

So he's rehearsing TIOBI as well. Love the tune but there's a whole new level of predictable. He said that after Glasto last year he didn't really feel like doing the ones with Liam on vocals anymore, apart from Live Forever cause it's a completely new version. Can't remember the word he used now but what I think he meant was that it felt a bit like a caricature, especially with Liam now doing the same tunes That clearly narrows down the list of possibilities, but I hope it also means we get a couple of surprises a-la Going Nowhere throughout the tour. Still holding out hope for Falling Down, and would love for him to try some Standing stuff (also, bring back D'Yer Wanna Be a Spaceman please) Still believe there's a chance he tries something like he did with Live Forever (or Supersonic before) at some point tho

Grossly speculating here, but based on soundchecks, the European setlist is looking like:
American setlist songs + You Know We Can't Go Back + Think of a Number + TIOBI
Not sure if they've been rehearsing other tunes.

Love is A Rich Man, If I Had a Gun and I think they were rehearsing I'm Not Giving Up Tonight too (although not sure if he can pull it off with the vocals) I guess you can throw a couple of other Oasis tunes in there too, Talk Tonight maybe?

He mentioned: - Talk Tonight - Sad Song - Falling Down He rehearsed: - You Know We Cant Go Back - Think Of A Number - TIOBI - Dead In The Water - I'm Not Giving Up Tonight - Love Is a Rich Man He also played Stand By Me earlier this year and Love Will Tear Us Apart could make a comeback in the UK. It's sad his comments about the Liam's sung tunes. It shows how much the public's critism affects him. He made great versions like SCYHO, Wonderwall or Supersonic and I bet he could do more, like he's doing with Live Forever.

There's a load of songs he could play that would be amazing. But he's just gonna churn out the same old shit to entertain the average fan (which I understand) But he (and other artists) should put on random gigs where only rare tracks will be played. And make it clear no "hits" will be played.
I went to watch Kelly Jones a few years back and he made it clear he was playing solo stuff, b-sides and songs he's never done live before, NOT the hits. There were people leaving left right and center complaining they didnt know the songs

Where did he soundcheck Think of a Number? Oh guess i didn't pay attention to that. So adding IIHAG and the chances of surprises are lower and lower and lower. Guess we'll find it in a bit, but hopes are down.

Anyone know who else will be supporting Noel at the Crystal Palace Bowl? It's Johnny Marr and Everyone You Know isn't it? Don't think anyone else has been announced

I hope he adds a couple more (yes, Think of A Number I'm looking at you) but I like it, I like the mix up I guess why some of you would complain but I haven't seen him in 6 years, I want the classics too and those are all my faves when it comes to Oasis (although Little by Little I can do without)

I hope he finds a way to get an actual WBTM track in there somewhere (DITW doesn’t really count however great it is). And maybe a solo track in the encore.

Well, well some surprises here but nothing worth of shock right?
Positive: - Council Skies is not the ideal opener but I think it works better than PB. - Finally he switching up a bit the tunes and dropping that "let's get the new songs out of the way first". It flows so much better, even with a few Oasis tracks at the begging, much, much better
Negative: - the new additions to the setlist are hardly new right? I mean they're all great songs but TIOBI, IIHAG and DITW were hardly missed they were all played during previous tours.

The set list is ok but he should bring in more songs from Chasing Yesterday but drop The Heat Of The Moment.
