I absolute love it, but I'm avoiding new songs as I want to listen to them for the first time on Friday after picking my copy from my local record shop. Yeah, I didn't listen to the two new songs which Liam and his band played as I'm waiting for the album now and I don't want to hear anymore new songs until I've listened to the album.

But what voice does it also have in DYKWIM? perhaps it is the closest voice to his 90s that I have ever had. it's amazing to say this in 2022 after all the voice problems we know. Spiritually erotic vocal performance.

Did anyone watch the NY gig after it? Was it sped up? Or was the pitch off or something? It didn't sound right to me Yeah I turned off after RNR Star as it sounded woeful.

Easiest way to watch outside UK free: 1. Get a free trial of a VPN 2. Sign up for a 7 day free trial for Now TV (using the VPN) 3. Watch on Now TV – have a fantastic time, the show is really nicely done 4. Cancel Now (unless you want to watch other things) 5. Cancel the VPN (but they’re very nice to have if you regularly watch or listen to overseas content) Too hard. Liam's obviously not too fussed about making this easy for lots of his fans around the world to watch so I won't be too fussed about watching it either. Maybe it will end up on a bonus DVD attached to a deluxe edition of the album somewhere down the track. I'll hold off actually buying the album for a year or so just in case that happens. Don't want to have to buy the album twice.
Too hard, lol. It's not exactly the labors of Hercules, but anyway, now I see someone has already ripped it.
It not being available outside the UK has zip to do with Liam though -- he didn't make geo-blocking a thing. I'm sure he'd be happy for it to be everywhere.

It was alright, not bad. Diamond In The Dark sounded good! Could be one of the gems of the album, Too Good To Give Up however could be one of the stinkers of the album! Didn't like the song at all. The interview/doc bits were okay too but nothing really new learnt, just the usual talk. Though it's hard to tell Lennon and Gene apart lol. I like the old bloke who owns Rockfield, top guy. Counterpoint: it's a really nice, down to earth show.
Hit just the right mix of being mainly about the music with a charming touch of “the real Liam” and never felt pretentious or overly contrived. And great set list and vocals. Don't think Liam is ever going to let cinema verite cameras into his private world, and that just goes to show he's actually pretty sane! But it's cool to see how much his sons clearly admire and enjoy him, speaks volumes.

For the love of me, I don't understand why they continue to let Jay absolutely butcher the DYMWIM? solo. It's not that hard dude!

Yeah it was nice, not seen much of Lennon and Gene myself so it was good to see what they're like.

I sometimes cringe a bit at "omg his voice is back to the 90s" comments on youtube because quite simply (despite the incredible improvement) it never has reached them levels again. However that D'You Know What I Mean performance IS as good as the 90s. If you close your eyes for the first minute it could be from 1997 easily. The issue isn't always his range, because he's got that back in abundance, i think it's more him being comfortable with the song. I still think he nails Oasis songs far more regularly live than he does newer songs.
Too Good For Giving Up from this sounds better than the studio one for me. Better vocal take and slightly less polished instrumental make it one of his best solo performances. All of the performances could quite easily be hailed his best since going solo. Was a joy to watch. He comes across great too, as does his lads.

Fully agree. I love Too Good best stripped raw -- a song that emotional can drown in a big string treatment. The live version scrapes the sugar off of it and it hits harder.

Really enjoyed this, great 'in session' performances. Still, he missed a trick - could have used a return to Rockfield to intro a full band version of 'Dont Look Back In Anger' recorded on the same gear as the original The kids seem alright considering the famous dad/mum celeb spotlight upbringings, and different mums at that - you wouldn't really think anything from the way they all get on. That's got to be a fair big credit to Liam there. Let's just hope the two of them never do form a band though eh? I thought the best bit was when liam was goofing around in the studio about some noise the keyboard player or a guitar pedal was making - hardly ever see him really smile easily like that, it's only a short clip but he almost seems embarrassed when he realises the camera might have caught him out actually being him... I reckon he must be generally alright as a bloke, the long-term friendship with bonehead and the fact that his band has stayed the same for a good few years now seem to back that up too.

I noticed that too, he's probably quite smiley and silly in private.

Finally watched the show. New album tracks are good, but nowhere near the last two Oasis songs he performs.
