Sullivan, who pushed Noel on stage in 2008/09, essentially ended Oasis. Without that push, I think the band would have made it beyond the DOYS era. Never, ever underestimate the short fuse severe pain has on someone - remember, Noel broke his ribs through this (and he even finished out that specific gig despite his bad injuries). To my memory, Sullivan got off very easily. Fuck that imbicile. Who can forget when Noel was pushed off the stage by that Sullivan guy. It was at the V Festival in America in 2008. Eh? It was in Toronto which, last time I checked, is in Canada

Shocking, now the name of a continent, usually stolen by a single country, becomes the name of the entire north.

Uhm... not quite: While performing "Morning Glory" at Toronto's 2008 Virgin Festival, a man suddenly appears on stage and, without warning, pushes an unsuspecting guitarist Noel Gallagher to the floor, causing a halt in the performance for several minutes until nerves and microphones were reset for the band to resume performing, commencing with "The Importance of Being Idle."

Yes, you are right the bloke did appear from nowhere. I haven't listened to that gig in a while though so I couldn't remember which song the band was playing when the incident happened.

To my memory, Sullivan got off very easily. Fuck that imbicile. I've said that for years! It ties in with Liam's 'we had an argument but we've had bigger ones' comments over the years - Noel tolerated Liam's antics over the years until he went on a year long world tour in pain with broken ribs and a shorter fuse. Noel travelled separately from the rest of the band for most of that tour too.
