Why is it that singers can perform better in a studio than at a concert? What the difference sound-wise besides the obvious, that a gig is louder? I'm asking those who have experience on the stage because I've never been in a band myself.

I actually prefer the roughness of the brit awards one lmao shoot me
Both are top though, dunno what the fuss is about.
Liam in 95 would be boozed up and slurring/missing notes. Now people suddenly expect him to be a perfect singer, its really weird.
Great single. Also hilarious hearing Fallon say cmon yknow

This practically could've been the music video as well.

I much prefer to perform with the British. I don't know about you but this song is better live.
Unpopular opinion. as a single I'm not as thrilled as I was at the beginning. Let's hope for the next single.

This practically could've been the music video as well. This is the video for the single in my opinion. He looks great...styled hair..which has had trim ..and decent jacket..very Barrowlands looking and sounds great. Nice one. The Brits performance is a shambles by comparison ha ha

So we're 2 for 2 with Bonehead in the band for a live performance of a Liam solo tune. In last it seems he's only been on stage for Oasis songs (and Once if I remember correctly) Hope this is a permanent lineup. Bonehead makes everything better.

Liam feeds off the crowd singing live and ends up going for power rather than getting a perfect performance. I'm not sure this is a true live performance, I've noticed most acts since covid have recorded performances in studios and cleaned them up for use by TV. Even so it sounds better than the record to me.

Very nicely done. That “So!” 🔥And Ralph Lauren jacket is good. Surprised to see Bonehead here too. Maybe he got bored and decided to join the band full time this album cycle, I doubt there were financial reasons for this decision... It could be his last chance to experience this

A great performance by Liam and his band there's also an audio version of the performance with just Liam and his band's performance without all that subscribe crap at the end like there is on the video version.

Yes as a previous post said recording it yourself and making sure it's perfect and sending it out is the way to go.
I hope more of an effort goes into the live mixing sound this Tour ... as we know festivals and other shows the sound mix is hit and miss need to clean this up and have it consistent

Why is it that singers can perform better in a studio than at a concert? What the difference sound-wise besides the obvious, that a gig is louder? I'm asking those who have experience on the stage because I've never been in a band myself. Probably your ability to hear yourself and judge how to pitch your voice. From my own personal point of view I know that (all by my standards, I'm shit by professional standards) that I always sound pretty good in a quiet environment or if I'm playing acoustically, if I try to sing a song at a loud karaoke venue or sing along at a gig and I can't hear myself I sound fucking awful. Liam at his best is still magnificent, but I get the impression that through age and so many loud concerts his hearing isn't wonderful anymore and he maybe has a more tenuous grasp on his ability to utilize his voice making the environment he's performing in very important to how well he performs. Before he used to be able to shout in tune and it sounded magnificent, he stopped being great at that which is why we had the dark years of 2006-2013, he now goes for precision over power but that requires a favorable environment. I put his vocal improvement down to that, he doesn't have better tools than he did in 2006, but he now uses them properly but that gets harder the louder the venue. Also drinking and drugs fucks your voice up and he was drinking backstage before the brits, he appears 100% sober here.
