I’ve listened to tons of live versions of LF, and simply can’t recall the last time he nailed it like that. Which is kind of ironic as people were also raving about Noel’s LF rendition earlier this week. If I were told I could hear Live Forever just 100 times the rest of my life, but could only listen to Noel’s sofa session version and LG’s version from TRNSMT, I’d choose LG’s 100 times.

Has it ever been done better? Serious question. It's everything that song should be from the defiant start to the perfect John-homage end. Band is fully on it now. Happy for those who get to see him in this phase. Long may it last. This is a legitimate rock n roll band now, ladies and gentlemen. Yeah, this. It's something that felt a bit lacking before for Liam but it's all coming together. Started with the Thames gig where the mix was nailed and now seems to be going to another level on stage, especially on the solo songs, which gives one lots of hope for the incoming album ...

WMWN - On another level - best performance of this immense tune Only heard this through my phone admittedly so far but it doesn't seem such a a great performance to me... Not best vocals but best performance

Wow. Band on form, and his voice is eerily good. Can we please have a US tour next year? I was lucky to catch him with The Who in 2019 and it was fine but they’re all sounding loads better now.
Minor gripe: given how well he’s singing, it would be really nice if he would learn to sing the chorus of Rock and Roll Star properly.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds this really annoying, it's pretty much the only problem I have with his vocals at the minute

Can't believe no-one has mentioned Jay's fuck up on the RNRS intro either? Remember the shit he had for that a few years back

Can't spot any in-ear monitor wires for any of these performances. I'm guessing Liam is just one of those who sings through intuition and muscle memory but maybe hasn't got the best ears which is why he sounds off with them in. That would explain why he went a bit off from 2004 onwards and why he sounds better now and on the first BE tour tbf without them.

I'm listening to it again now and the whole concert is just so good. Supersonic now. This always sounds great live now with Liam and his band.

TRNSMT concert, wow!!!
Greedy Soul wasn't broadcasted this time, and Fade Away and Paper Crown and Fade Away not played due to limited set time I guess?

But what an amazing performances he's giving us. Of course voice-wise, is this the best he's ever sounded since going solo? Also the band and the overall show, with the screens etc. Wow wow wow.

The Scots. They smell but they make for a great audience.
Never been a better time to be a fan of the brothers Gallagher. We’re spoiled.

Felt like the whole performance was tighter and like they were actually enjoying it. Liam at the top of his game. Still wish Liam would ditch the xxxxl jackets 🙄 for his performances.

Finally got to watch TRNSMT and I'm loving it. We can easily comfirm that Why Me? Why Not. is absolute one of the best Liam solo songs and it works bloody great live.
I do miss gigs just like every one of you on here, but then again people are dying and suffering Covid-19. We're happy to be able to enjoy what we love even in this situation. Been quite busy with work and all recently, but music gives me power again. Liam's guitarist is doing great job, unlikely Jay who still fucks up with the intro from RnR Star (amazing...).
