Nice to hear Noel do something different. I wonder if either of these covers will end up getting played at TCT next month? Inevitably, what begins as something we all feel is a unique one-off cover performance for a special gig, then becomes the encore for every gig for the next 4 years.

Another one - unfortunately Noel doesn't sing (in fact he asks for his vocal mike to be turned off at the start).

So Noel sang lead on two songs - THE WORLD KEEPS TURNING and JUST LIKE CRYING. He also played guitar on NO PLACE TO GO but didn't sing this time. Is that correct?

Woah! Noel would be the youngest in that line-up - by at least ten years. No?

So did this come out today or what? It's due out today but I haven't seen it "circulating" anywhere online yet.

The audio from the CD set is "circulating" - just type in the album title alongside the words "download" and/or "blog" and you'll soon find it.
Noel's performance of The World Keeps Turning is a gorgeous, laid back and intimate blues performance unlike anything else in his back catalogue. Very impressive.
