We need a return to the beatles way of doing thing's, 2 albums a year. That'd be great. But I suppose if he can't do it until 2021, then it's best that he takes a break.

I expect a brilliant record if it doesn't come out until 2021. I just can't see what'd take so long.

The most interesting part is that Gibson is going to produce a signature version of his faithful J-150 acoustic guitar. Not that I can afford it, of course

I expect a brilliant record if it doesn't come out until 2021. I just can't see what'd take so long. Well it could take six months to record the album. Or 12, or three. He's finishing building that studio too. Then there's the gigs next summer. Then there's the lead-time, which for a standard album is like 3-5 months. And given Noel's management, it usually ends up being 3-6 months for him. So there's all of that, which means of course it'll be 2021 before it comes out. Depending on how long the album takes to make, it'll either be early (March-May) or late (Oct-Nov).

I really don't see why they need so much time to record. Bands have recorded mixed and mastered their albums in 3 weeks, but the gallaghers seem to take an entire year.

He's just doing some summer gigs, shouldn't really impede on recording. He should just record in another studio, his home studio shouldn't take to long to make. He could have an album out by October 2020. He just doesn't want to. Bands have made and released albums in a few months.
