So were are we at - have we reached peak Liam now ? ( as some said in 2017/8 )
Or are we going to see the first stadium show in summer 2020
Or do we even want a stadium show ? I think Noel would be sick if Liam sold out the Etihad - but really I think he can do it
Probably could fill Wembley too . 2 venues is enough for a start.
Who would of thought when this started at the Manchester ritz in 2017 that Liam would of been this big . I certainly thought after beady eye split that it was game over - especially as he seemed adamant he never wanted to be a solo star or work with other people . So really these last few years have been great to see the rise and rise .

An interesting thought. Oasis set the attendance record for the Etihad in 2005 with 60,000 according to Wiki. Is Liam bigger now than Oasis were in 2005? No.
He did manage to sell out Finsbury Park though, which was around 40,000 attendees IIRC. Is Liam bigger now than he was last year? Debatable, but not really. The tour has only just begun though so that could change. A big summer homecoming gig at the Etihad could very well be on the cards.

It’s probably last chance for a big big gig right ?
Album number 3 will be arenas again - but it’s not forced to be received as well as
As you were and Why me why not

I honestly think that Liam is bigger and more universally loved now than what he was in the later years of Oasis. Hes further superseded anyone’s expectations and I think without a doubt he would be able to sell out a stadium in the UK.
Even knebworth is a possibility - he’s Back to being one of the biggest names in the music business

I think a one-off stadium gig is within reach. The great gigs he is putting on and the buzz people are getting off them are only going to increase the demand.

No. Liam would need to co head line with another 90s artist. Say the Verve or something. Or Damon(just kidding, though it would work).

Are stadium shows any good? My dream is to see Liam in a small venue.

Are stadium shows any good? My dream is to see Liam in a small venue. Probably my least favourite. Small gigs obviously better, but when it comes to big gigs, a big open park is much better imo than a stadium. Stadiums seem a bit clinical and restricted. Parks have more of a festival feeling. Having said that they’re still good and probs better for those who like seats. I’d still be buzzing

There are different stadiums all over the UK, different shapes and sizes. He can't do a U2 with 2 shows in each major city, but a handful of strategically placed smaller stadium shows would be great and doable, unless he had someone biblical with him like The Verve, The Stone Roses or his older brother... and I don't mean Paul.
Etihad he could do, Cardiff City Stadium, Reading Madjeski, Southampton St Mary's, Coventry Ricoh, Sunderland Stadium of Light etc.
By the time you stick a stage in a UK stadium, you take 10k off the capacity anyway.
If I remember correctly, he said he was doing a second album quickly (Why Me, Why Not) then taking a break, so he needs to go out with a bang, have 18 months off after next summer and let people miss him a bit.

Are stadium shows any good? My dream is to see Liam in a small venue. I would love for Liam to do more stadium gigs, but only because it would represent huge demand. But I don't want to actually attend. Been to enough stadium gigs to know what I'm in for. I'm with you, small venues are the way to go. Last year I saw The Struts play for under 1500 people. Best show I've been to in ages.
