Matt Morgan said similar things about the brilliance of Australiasian news. Claimed they interview their politicians saying things like "Ah, come on, mate, you know that's a crock of ol' rubbish".

Tbh even now I'd give my left nut to hear a new album of Liam singing Noel's songs. Anyway nice to see the old Noel back in that interview.

I agree with everything Noel said except the Oasis reunion. I prefer Noel's solo stuff to anything else at the moment.

I agree that he seems to want to calm things down with Liam, but really don't think he's saying anything new about an Oasis reunion. He's clearly saying that he still see no reason to do it, and using the term "extraodinary circumstances" is clearly implying that there's more chance to never see Oasis back together than the opposite in my opinion. The "never say never" part is nothing else than saying "I'm not omniscient and can't predict the future obviously". I don't mind a reunion even if I don't really want it myself, but I don't think he has changed his mind at all about this. Seems to me that he tries to be more "diplomatic" for Liam and the fans

Noel being diplomatic for Liam and the fans isn't something he's been doing as of late, so that's a positive change in my book. I have no problem with both of them doing their own thing and know from personal experience how complex a relationship between two brothers can be... I'd just like to see the two of them bury the hatchet and move on, whether that means a reunion or not.

I'm convinced that they just need to shut up for a few months, because these two are constantly talking or sending messages to the other through press, way too often at least. They never had a real long time off to think, get the other out of their head, or missing him. Since the Oasis split, there were always something here and there. Of course it's not just their fault, press is asking, people are asking... But a relationship between brothers is too personal to be discussed in the press like this, it's doing more damage than anything imo. As you said it's really complex, none of us can really understand what's going on, I'm not even sure that they completely know themselves ^^ Even I, being a huge fan and all that, I'm sick of this story. I hope they will get along, but don't want to hear more gossips and press shit about it, and Liam saying Noel's music is shit, or Noel saying the same about Liam or whatever ^^ I'm probably the only Oasis fan who wants this, but I would like them both to shut their big mouth for a while, a complete blackout, who knows, it could work

And the truth is (with how busy they both are and the interview cycles being what they are) if they shut their mouths about EACH OTHER, that in and of itself would be a continuation of the story in the public eye and just fuel more speculation.

Didn't thouhgt about this that way, but it's true, even silence isn't a solution, there will just be more questions and I can't see any of them saying "no comment" for months ^^ Last hope is Peggy forcing Noel to go to Liam's wedding then, but I'm not sure that a reunion of these two with a lot of alcohol around really is a good idea
