Put money on it, Jools loves a bit of boogie woogie piano. Odds-on Jools muscles his way in for a tinkle. He could play on Once?

So that's why he's peaking down. I thought it was pretty how, on the Unplugged video, they blurred out the autocue screen, whenever the camera was behind the band. Who even cares that he uses it?? I'd love it, if I were on stage.

I'd love it, if I were on stage. That's part of why he seems more professional and his performances are more consistent than ever before. I'm all for it.

Blimey. They’ve had a change of decoration on the studio floor. Looks quite smart from where I’m sitting—like how talk shows used to look before they just chucked loads of LEDs at them.

One day we'll even get the second verse to Acquiesce. *Liam, seeing the second verse on screen* "Ha, you vaginas wish!"

Completing the line-up is singer and podcast queen Jessie Ware, who is co-hosting the Friday night’s hour-long episode and will be joining Jools at the piano tonight for a Sam Cooke classic. Rock ‘n’ roll star Liam Gallagher is back with his second triumphant number one solo album Why Me? Why Not, a nostalgic follow up to his platinum selling solo debut, As You Were. Joining Liam on the drums for The River - and making his TV debut on the show - is his son Gene Gallagher. Not only will Liam perform, but he will be joining Jools for a chat about the latest record.

Interesting, especially as Liam recently said how unenthusiastic the boy was about playing on the album. Maybe they make a two drummer set as that one time with "Flick of the finger" with Beady Eye?

That's what I was thinking. Yeah, they would not leave that all alone to a rookie, would they? Unless he's really good.

He never seems to perform well on Jools. The River is a tough one to sing as well.
