Just got tickets for Amsterdam ! Flying from Canada ! Unfortunate for those who had tickets to Oslo, perhaps he was having trouble selling out? Was that the only canceled show so far? Safe journey! I and my English friends will be there too. AFAS Live (former Heineken Music Hall) where Oasis played in 2005 & 2009, Noel in 2016 & last year and Liam last year, is just around the corner, so have a look of it when you have some time left. Remind that Ziggo Dome isn’t in the city centre. You have to take a train or tube from the Central Station. It takes about 15 minutes. When you come out of station, you’ll see AFAS Live. Walk to that venue and walk further to the main entrace of Johan Cruijff Arena. Ziggo Dome is just opposite of it. Thanks very much for all the info! Hopefully I see you there! Do you think there is any point of waiting to meet Liam around soundcheck time? Or is it too busy and non accessible there? The arena's in Canada are under heavy security and lockdown, I usually dont bother trying unless its a small venue.

The arena's in Canada are under heavy security and lockdown, I usually dont bother trying unless its a small venue. Most likely he'll go to the undergrounds parking lot straight away like he did last year. He didn't do soundcheck, so he arrived the venue with Debbie and his sons just after the door went open. It was filmed in "As It Was". I was already inside the venue at the time, but my friends were at the back stage door. It took ages for them to get into the venue as there was a endless queue at the door for security control. They missed the support act. As he's playing in a bigger venue this time (the biggest indoor arena in The Netherlands), security will be much tighter than ever. We did meet Boneheads outside when he arrived for soundcheck. Top guy. I was lucky enough to meet Liam outside the venue back in 2014 as Beady Eye played in a smaller venue. I guess you'll have a more chance to meet him in the city centre around coffee shops. Don't bring any personal stuff except phone and wallet. You may need a credit or debit card to buy a drink in the venue as cashless is becoming very common over here. You'll experience big differences of gigs between Canada and Europe. Safe journey once again and stay safe during the gig.

What's the problem with it? I'm curious of that, too! Funnily enough I've always found it a good venue and I really like it (especially the unusual hall setup). The building is nice as well. But I've heard really mixed views on Gasometer from my Austrian concert-goer friends, so maybe they know more than me with my experience there (though I've surely been to about 8-10 gigs at Gasometer)

It's not very often that Liam does a solo gig anywhere near us, so I'm just going to be buzzing regardless of the venue. See you there!

Are you coming over all alone or with your friends?

I'll be going to a few other countries around europe with friends but they are leaving earlier and I'll be in Amsterdam by myself ! Is it the first time for you to visit Europe? If you stay in the city centre while you're in Amsterdam, I recommend you to buy one day ticket for the public transport instead of the one only valid for an hour. It costs 8 Euro and you do need it to go to the venue and to go back to your hotel. If you have some time left next day, you can visit record shops in the city centre. There's one nearly opposite of Paradiso (Weller's favourite record shop) and the biggest record shop in the country called Concerto. They have lots of new and second hand CD's, vinyls and books and you can even have a cup of coffee there. concerto.amsterdam/en/

Apologies for the late response, I just saw this! Yeah this will be my first time in Europe, arriving in London first. As the concert is approaching, I’m really hoping he brings Lyla back into the set! And wishful thinking he brings she’s electric into it as well!

Stockholm, Berlin, Munich, Roma sold out
Milano, Paris and Amsterdam just a few seats on the higher levels (gigs in arenas all of them)
It looks like a successful tour ahead for Liam
