Never been fussy on lyla. Even more so dropped, sounds pretty bad. Plenty of other tunes

I’m really happy he decided to bring Lyla back in, he obviously loves it.
Really hope it stays for London later this week.

If he wants to have a song from DBTT in the set, he really should look into rehearsing Turn Up The Sun with the band as Lyla is not working at all lowered like that. It's a better song than Lyla as well imo. The Meaning Of Soul would work as well probably. If only he wrote a second verse for it... He should play Love Like A Bomb. That's a tune live!

tbh Lyla sounds like he'd be better off playing it in the usual key and not hitting every note than lowering it and sounding weird.

Agree, especially now he’s got the backing singers to pick up the slack, they could just go in strong on those notes. It’s a song that’s perfect for a big arena and when you’re actually there you’re really not that arsed about technical perfection. I’m buzzin he included this one again!

Im thinking in the verses Stand By Me is sounding a bit iffy
but the chorus kicks in and all is forgiven
I wonder what 2020 will bring in terms of new Oasis songs yet to be played? I would say this is pretty much it for the Why Me Why Not tour

Was all for Noels benefit the queers comment
Think of all the times he changed the words or didnt sing the correct verses
It was all to Get at Noel G

It's not because they've dropped the key that it sounds weird. He's singing in it minor instead of major and sounds off because of it. He's not out of tune, he's just in the wrong tune, for lack of a better saying. It sucks all the energy out of it though.

Notts gig his vocals were nothing short of brilliant a little worn at times but a days rest will sort that , was a brilliant gig ,the setlist fits well together and the band sounded excellent ..he could do with doing a few tracks he wrote from the oasis times

He also considered let’s all make believe and she’s electric Look that song is undoubtedly about Nicole he went around the world in 2002 03 to say that and “ I’ve never felt this love for anyone “ is he gonna suddenly say it’s about Debbie or Peggy I would find it very weird if he ever played it

Things change.

"Soul love" used to be about Nicole as well and he sang it last (?) year. To say nothing of "Lyla" being about Sara MacDonald! Can't believe I'm seeing him ... tomorrow! AND Friday, if that AXS thingy is working. I'm slightly freaking out, as it's been years (2,5 actually, last time was Liam in Dublin) since I travelled by plane and even longer since I've been in UK. Where did it all go wrong, ah, where did the years go?!
Seeing being relative, my seat has another post code than the stage. One reason why I tried again for Friday, when I'll be slightly closer.
