Didn't expect such a sudden drop off. The record did well enough though.

#68 this week. Stayed 17 consecutive weeks in the top 50. Yeah that's quite the plummet but hopefully it can go back to the top 40 after the Once video is released

It's amazing that Liam came up with an idea himself that does more for marketing the album than a load of music industry professionals.

I'm in the US where that is definitely true but I thought I assumed the UK got a huge wave of promo for this record. All the interview spots, MTV Unplugged, As It Was, print interviews.

The marketing for this wasn’t great they’ve just kind of let it sell Itself, he’s probably hit there targets initially on the first album, don’t forget just because not everything shows charts worldwide he will still be getting steady sales allover the world and his Spotify and YouTube always getting played it all counts ..his radio AirPlay aswell ...with America it’s all about record companies and budgets , if he chucked millions at airplay and promotion he’d get big sales it’s as simple as that really

Wmwn did about 1/3 of the first week US sales of ayw. That says something about the promotion.

TV also doesn't show music videos. Where exactly is William's management throwing money? It's all about Spotify and getting into those prominent playlists.

Is the ONCE video losing traction? Hopefully that can fan future sales for WMWN How do we know it’s success? Just YouTube views? Or is there a UK video program I’m unaware about? we know its "success". Once re-enters at #80 in the official uk singles chart without physical copies (!) (spenting a 4th week in the charts) and that's an achievment for an act like LG and for a july2019 release. Also returned to the i tunes chart. album WMWN returned to top 40 official UK albums chart climbing 80-31 and seems that its gonna stay another week in the top40-50. video for Once went viral for a few days reaching #4 (i think) in the charts . Very seldom for an act like LG to enter the youtube charts. Once is a big track. Lost its momentum back in 2019 cause the promo wasnt proper. Its was only a release for the fans. Needed a proper release . could do twice what FWIW did for AYW in terms of sales. Anyway, finally we have a proper release with that kind of its current "success" n thats something. i believe that warner can do the same with NTIFY sooner or later. Proper video n release. Cause these things seem to work

I thought the EP might have lasted one more week. Still, as a surprise release with no promotion or physical version, I dont think it was ever really about sales, more like a treat for fans.
Not sure how much longer WMWN will stay in the chart, as it looked like it was making its final descent when it dropped to #80, but now seems to have picked up a bit. Not really anything more to promote it now, as the UK tour leg is over til June and i cant see any more singles being released. Maybe a few weeks more?

I think he can push it up one more time if he releases a cheap video during his downtime, for Now That I found You or Glimmer.

We’ll probably see another lift in sales around Reading/Leeds. The tv coverage is prime time and he will surely command some new attention then.

Be interesting to see how long this tour goes on for.
I'd have thought he'd play some US dates in May time but still no announcement other than the festivals is there?
Other than there and south america, is there anywhere he hasn't done on this tour yet?
Just don't see the need for it to drag on. Heck, the European gigs he is playing atm were originally scheduled for the end of 2018, remember!
Just have a decent tour, get through to the end of the year and then maybe have some time off.
Is there a massive demand for a third album (though we on here would all like one)?
