I enjoy the DJ set before LG much more than I would a support act. Hearing classics and bangers builds the hype so much more, especially when ‘I Am The Resurrection’ kicks in!
Was hoping between us on the Forum we could put together a definitive list of what is played. There’s a few tracks I always buzz off but have no idea what they are so would be great to find out

Is it his brother Paul doing the dj'ing? He did at Finsbury Park. Hype kicked in as soon as I Am The Resurrection came on. I tried to get his attention to no avail.

Is it his brother Paul doing the dj'ing? Yes, he's done it on European tour last year as well. He always waddles across the stage to his decks on the left hand side. Looking bored shitless. Avoids all eye contact and gestures ha ha. I guess if he pulls out Peggy will be wheeled out playing the spoons! For an hour and a half while people avoid going to the toilets at the risk of losing there 4 hr queuing sweet spot on the barriers at the front.

I totally agree with you, idleross. I don't bother with support acts and just turn up at 20.45, get a good spot and wait for Rock N'Roll Star. At Alexandra Palace last year we got there early because it's walking distance from my house and we thought we'd just have a couple of beers in the bar before Liam came onstage. Then we started hearing a load of bangers coming out of the PA in the arena. So we went in there and it was like being at an indie disco in the 90's. From (admittedly half-cut) memory - Charlatans, New Order, Joy Division, a few I didn't know, and I Am The Resurrection.
