Hi CDs are past DVDs are past Even blurays seem to be past How do you listen to Oasis and your other favorites bands / artists ? Me : I have Apple Music. Streaming music is cool for many reasons. First is quality of the music. Always better than some CDs. Second is the ability to listen to music everywhere (once you have a connected device). etc. With Apple you also have the ability to add to your library what is missing inside the artists LP / EP / Singles, etc. To finish I wanted to share my favs song playlist created with the Apple Music service > music.apple.com/fr/playlist/oasis/pl.u-qBbYTX8VZPRHave a nice one

I store all my music on my laptop which I hardly use any more thanks to the iPad. I also store my music on my iPad and iPhone so I have it for car and airplane rides. I’m very much stuck in 2015 with this approach, but fuck the haters.
I still download torrents but use the iTunes Store if I can’t be arsed.
I really do like wireless headphones despite initially bitching at the concept years ago.

Still just using a local iTunes library that gets synced to my phone and backed up to an external drive. Mostly buy digital and preview stuff on YouTube and listen to some internet radio.

Spotify/YouTube when i have my laptop with me. Other than that, i listen to my CD rips on my Smartphone, most of my SD Card is dedicated to music.
And in the case i'm driving, i still use the actual CD's from time to time.

Mostly Amazon Prime on my phone. Either through headphones when out or Bluetooth in car and house.

From lossless sources, then uploaded to my Google Play Library or onto my local SD card (for phone play).
Use foobar2000 for converting it to AAC lossy formats, transfer to my multimedia USB flash drive and used in my car via my USB dash console.
TL;DR
1) Lossless listening from desktop library
2) Google Play Music streaming local library / local SD card library
3) Lossy AAC via USB flash in car. (My favorite experience)
To add, what I love about car play is that I have hundreds of albums loaded onto my flash, and it's akin to cycling through CDs in your compartment box with the click of a button.

All my Oasis stuff is on my laptop and I either stream it from there to the stereo or use the old ipod now and again if I'm listening in the car.
My kids laughed at me for using the ipod instead of using my phone until I showed them how many GB of audio tracks there were. My Beatles collection alone wouldn't fit on my phone.
I've no use for streaming services like Spotify - I have heaps of Oasis concerts and rarities that they don't have. I remember my daughter getting into Arctic Monkeys and using Spotify to listen to them. She was astounded when she heard me playing an Arctic Monkeys track she'd never heard before because she said she thought "all" their stuff was on Spotify.

I love playing music in my car with my USB flash drive since I bought my USB compatible car stereo. I now get excited when I have to take the car for a long trip lol. In my car no more CDs So I use my phone with Bluetooth connexion

Same way as I've always done. I listen to my CD on my CD player, play vinyls on my turntable and while working on my desk, I often listen to music on my free spotify account with a headphone on.
I'm from an analog generation and I love to have physical formats. To me CD and vinyl are my past and present and what the future format will be? I don't know yet, but I'm sure I'll find the way which suits me and my life style.

At the gym: Pandora free "radio"
In my living room: Records and CD's
In my car: CD's (but recorded duplicates, made via my Sony CD recorder, so that the originals won't get scratched)

90% on CD, 10% on streaming.
I have a few vinyls of some of my favourite albums (including of course all the Oasis LPs & many singles on 12" as well), but I lack space to lodge my turntable at the moment so it's temporarily in storage.
I do like to listen to vinyl though, the sound is warmer & you can appreciate the artwork in detail.

Mostly digital from my phone through a good Bluetooth speaker. I’ve recently gone back to buying CDs though because used CDs are cheaper than iTunes plus I miss having the physical collection. Also a lot of stuff missing from iTunes and Apple. I buy vinyl too and I even bought a cassette recently, Johnny Marr. I only stream when I haven’t got around to buying whatever new thing I’m listening to. I hate the idea of someone/thing else controlling access to my music. I’m the same about books, don’t like ebooks.

In the car/running/walking - Spotify
At home - vinyl, CD and cassette.
I’ve built myself several iterations of a Hifi system over the years using vintage separates. A part of me feels really sad that there is a whole generation of people now who have only ever listened to music on a phone/MP3 type player. Yes, it’s much more convenient when you are out and about, but nothing beats listening to music coming out of some decent speakers.
