I love his SHOUTING

I think he would do it if he was confident in it. It’s the sort of thing I imagine that is a lot easier to do and control in a studio than live. I don’t get the stuff about the ‘punk bullshit’ I think he doing more singing now than he’s ever done. Perhaps less so now than when at his nadir, but he’s definitely still shouting (like a poor man’s Johnny Rotten) a fair amount. It doesn’t sound good, or cool, ESPECIALLY on the ballads. Where is he he doing this? Nothing had jumped out at me to be fair.

Once he nails it every time though.

Where is he he doing this? Nothing had jumped out at me to be fair. Once I just thought it voice wasn’t quite there for that song. He attacked it for the piano session and it sounded decent.

i would love liam to stick to acoustic sets as much as possible. so he can preserve his voice for another 20 years. he sounds so much better when hes not shouting. lets be honest its a miracle that with his singing technique and the amount of touring in the 90's an 00's, also that thyroid problem, he can can talk let alone sound as good as he still does. and as for all the comments saying " wow he sounds like he did in the 90's!" ... etc .... ..Thats just ridiculous, he sound decent ,.... he sounds amazing if you conpare him to 2006! but no where near the 90's. when i honestly think for a few short years he was the best singer in the world.
lets just be grateful that he dosnt sound like this anymore!

One of his best performances of the last 20 years. Amazing versions of the Oasis tunes.

One of his best performances of the last 20 years. Amazing versions of the Oasis tunes. That's so true. I still can't get enough of this gig - I almost watched it every day since it aired on MTV.

I was listening to some gigs from 1994 lately - It's incredible how good he sounded back then despite his alcohol and drug abuse. And yes he was the best Rock'n'Roll singer of the world back then! It's good to have him care about his voice nowadays. I hope we get a lot more great songs and gigs from him.

There was some terrible video/audio, his isolated vocals, singing I'm Outta Time. Does anyone has that? It was even worse than C&A..

He does not sound like the 90's but he sounds pretty close to peak 01-02 Liam, which is more than good enough for me after those late Oasis years and Beady Eye.

More like a mix of both the 90s and 2000s. The raspy voice of the 2000s and the much clearer vocals of the 90s. I kinda like how he sounds now more than the 90s. He should leave RNRS And WTSMG off future setlists though, it's pretty dreadful.

MTV Unplugged is a masterpiece. I do agree that he truly has one of the best voices in rock. Not the same as 93’ but definitely close to early 2000’s which is ok with me.

Stand By Me esp is one his finest performances. The whole arrangement is p.special and it's magical with Liam in good form.
I've said this for many years now; Liam is best suited to the acoustic stuff and I'm so glad he's been fully embracing it and he even said he enjoys it and he likes not having to shout all the time and actually sing.

Just watched this again with a life long oasis fan, not even heard of the gig....flawed by the sound...it is truly brilliant...of ..Stand by Me..to the both of us, Liam's most heartfelt vocal since his comeback. I think this gig Oasis knebworth and oasis barrowlands will be my revert to classic gigs.
