I am astonished at how good Liam sounds here. Over the years we’ve all been guilty of claiming Liam has returned to form just because certain vocal performances were passable or decent but this truly is a return to the quality of his voice from the 1990s. No exaggeration here. “Cast No Shadow” proves this.
Release the full gig as a download from iTunes / Spotify and even physically because it would be snapped up by pretty much everybody. Fans old and new.

If Liam had performed Sad Song live in 1997, I would have claimed this as an overdub from then. Genuinely sounding 90's good on that song.

There's something about the third chord in the verse of Sad Song that doesn't sound quite right in this version. The bass note is supposed to be a C# but instead they play some chord that has a D# as the bass note instead. It kinda irks me 'cause it sounds great apart from that.

Makes me cry. Bonehead takes the performance to next level. This and Cast No Shadow. And Morning Glory from the RadioX gig. It's Bonehead - his playing and possibly also some effect on Liam. Look at Liam at the beginning of the Morning Glory clip. He knows the performance will be epic before he starts. "The one and only"

Not sure if mentioned before, but is there any known reason why the Italian MTV aired different songs?

It's great if you don't hear what I'm referring to and am not bothered by it, and probably even more great if you Do hear it but am not bothered by it. As I said...I think it's great apart from that detail. I of course wish I couldn't hear it, but I can. May seem like a small detail to you and to me it kinda is too but that actually makes it even more irritating (compared to if it was a big detail) since the version is great apart from that.

It's great to have that growl back in his voice, after the nasal sound of BE. I remember when Wonderwall was the only Oasis song I knew, but playing it on a loop because of how Liam sounded when he sang "and afteeeeeeerrrr aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllll". I didn't even know if I liked it, it was just so different. I remember thinking he sounded like electricity.

Don’t think bonehead should be in too much. Turns too nostalgic. Liam is great solo as well as the oasis stuff

The slap of the fingers he does after singing Sad Song as well as he did was great to see.
He sounded great and he knew it.

Maybe it's been discussed before, and I know I'm gonna be in the minority here, but I really don't see the point of Liam doing Sad Song, unless of course it's (yet another) dig at Noel. It's a Noel written song and well-known also as sung by Noel, so what is he trying to prove singing it? He's got plenty of Oasis songs with his trademark voice in it, if what he wants is to bring some Oasis songs live. I find it rather sad, and I don't think Noel cares anyway. Anyone pictures Noel doing Songbird in his set? I don't think so.
That said, I think he sings it greatly. But then again, he might as well do an awesome version of U2's One, he's just a great singer.

There was a short clip of it in Supersonic with Liam on vocals so he clearly demoed it.
