Wasn't that the song that Liam was describing like super heavy, too heavy for the radio etc ? It was before they messed with it as feared.

So eager to listen to the whole song. Not as immediate as Shockwave, but can already hear some things I like:
- Liam's vocals. - The overall vibe. - The trippy guitar effect around 1:15 in the preview that sounds deliciously psychedelic.

I'm sure you'll find plenty of faults whatever it sounds like. What is your problem? I actually love trex, so why don’t you go annoy someone who is actually criticizing Liam in this thread Thanks

I'm afraid to say anything and be torn apart by Liam's cult, but... that sounds just like Shockwave. But a bit better. Are we getting a heavy record ? Damn. that would be cool. I don't know what you all listen to that has you thinking Shockwave and this are anything close to "heavy". Sounds like more middling rock. Not a bad thing, but certainly not "heavy". Compared to As You Were, it's friggin metal (not heard the long clip yet though)

For those of us who have pre-ordered the Album, should we expect the Download of 'The River' at Midnight or will we be waiting til some point Tomorrow?

I kind of liked it when I listened to it before without headphones, but now with them on after hearing this clip another 3 times I can say that I am officially HYPED!!! Seriously, those guitars give some real early Queens of the Stone Age vibes, and since I'm a fan of them that sure doesn't lower my levels of enthusiasm.

I’m sure he posts lots of other interesting comments but I’m surprised you would defend this one as he is obviously just trolling me. And it’s not the first time. I mean, come on..

The problem with Andy Bell is he was trying to write Oasis songs rather than just write his own songs.

Lots going on here. Certain parts sound amazing, while then certain parts sound too Liam throwaway Stompy. But he sounds good and I love the trippy guitar at the end. It at least makes it interesting. Need more listens and need the whole thing, but certainly sounds more interesting than some are making it out to be so far.

Is this not on iTunes in full in Aus/NZ? Definitely needing the full tune!

From the 1.30 clip, someone went to rock school and studied hard, it's all there Liam spinal tap Gallagher. YAWN, next.

Where are the Aussie and Kiwi fans when we need them (I’ve been lying on my ass for days following knee surgery and anything new is huge to me right now)?

I just wish Liam would sing his own stuff, especially when the stuff he is given to sing are kinda shit. big difference. Waste of talent just to stay relevant or do festivals, it's sad.

Simply dont like it. Shockwave is way better.Ok, nice lyrics maybe, but song is a bit static. Prefer melody of Just Sayin or 3ringcircus (poor lyrics there) but better sound. Why sinth sounds and not guitar solo? Btw thanks so much for leak.

I'd suggest everyone waits until we hear the full song until you start saying it's shit or amazing.

It's miles ahead of the fillers in AYW.. If we are comparing it to I get by and You better run it's a very nice tune much better than those two. Definitely not a single worthy song but a good upbeat album track to keep a flow going.

I'd suggest everyone waits until we hear the full song until you start saying it's shit or amazing. People can't do that mate. Not anymore. Dead strange. I've just heard the 1:30 clip. I liked what I heard, but gonna wait to judge fully until it comes out. I liked the pacing of it. Almost felt like it was a bit out of tempo - in a way that Supersonic did. But yeh, not enough to judge. Promising signs though

Mostly you do, you chuck the odd benign comment in just in case accuses you of exactly that. Same as with fartpanic though, Liam wants to work and he ain’t going to wait years to cobble together the songs he needs for an album. He is a singer first. If you don’t like who he works with or songs they make then a Liam Gallagher album probably isn’t for you. Haha but of course you know all that already.

The 1.30 clip hasn't sold me yet. It seems a bit boring and by the numbers, but I thought the same about the 1.30 shockwave too and then was massively surprised.
