Hey So I rarely use this forum anymore but have checked it since Noel's new song released.
I noticed in my messages that in December I received a messaged titled 'ratting them out' and a pastebin link with the short message "you're here, change your password"
The message appears to have been sent from myself as no other username appears.
Can I ask what the fuck is going on? And why this forum is allowing peoples leaked information on another website to be shared about.

First of all, to make it clear, Live4ever forum never leaks member's information to an another website. We understand it's very annoying to receive that kind of message, but We assume there must be an another issue, not with Proboards. We recommend you to scan your computer and to change the password for an another website/forum, email just in case. We also recommend you to have a look of the Proboard's Support forum as you might find an answer. support.proboards.com/board/44/support-boardI'll pass this post of yours to webm@ster. Cheers.

No I know this website was the one to leak the info.
But how can I receive a message that looks like it was sent by me. No other sender?
Thanks

No I know this website was the one to leak the info. But how can I receive a message that looks like it was sent by me. No other sender? Thanks 1. As we said earlier, We NEVER leak member's info to any website. 2. Are you registered on any other website/forums which are hosted by Proboards? In that case, I suggest you to contact with Proboards support forum. 3. Why you received that message, We don't know. Once again, We suggest you to install malwarebytes and do a scan on your computer/laptop/tablet. Cheers.

Live4Ever doesn't store any info about users. The login/account system is managed by ProBoards. No one here has "allowed to share information on another website" because simply we can't. Live4ever admins and mods can't see or modify passwords. And rightly so.

I can confirm what my mods have told you, Proboards removed admin access to users' passwords years ago. I would suggest you post on Proboards official support forum to find out more. support.proboards.com/I can tell you that what you describe is a popular method used by scammers on email platforms as well. Please let us know if you get this case solved and sorry for the inconveniences. webm@ster
